Very basic for the cost. Pillows on my bed were stained, very limited utensils and kitchenware. Winter in NYC but there was only a sheet and light doona. No blankets. Fourth floor with suitcases is a bit rough.

The location is great and the size/feel of the place is nice too. Service of housekeeping offered everyday which was good. TV and heating console good too. Easily accessed.

The Housekeeping service was slow to replenish our towels, but I was able to find them and ask for more. Problem solved easily.

Room was small but didn't need much more. Has a bed and a bathroom, which are all you need in the big city.

The room was clean, comfortable, everything you need was there, all the equipment worked. The location is not far from the center, quite quiet. The staff is very nice. Many shops and restaurants nearby.

We knew this on beforehand, but no-staff-operation makes it very unpersonal. On-line check-in is not very customer friendly. Room (floor) itself was not cleaned after first & 2nd night - only towels renewed & bathroom cleaned. There were several things broken, which we mentioned at check-in. Never received a response. For such a rate, I would expect a room in better condition and things to be fixed.

Wish the shower and ventilation works better. Shower head was not focus and very weak, the drainage was problematic as well.

Nice location to explore downtown Manhatthan and Brooklyn. Local vibes. Close to lots of popular bars and eateries, Chinatown, bridges towards Brooklyn. Easy to get to train station. The lady doing room service was very helpful and kind. Did not receive any access email after check-in, keep messaging the hotel but did not get any reply. Luckily she was there to help when I arrive. The room is equipped with kettle, fridge, oven and cooking equipment. Did not use them though.

That first night was not ideal (weird lighting, window was extremely hard to open), but also it was still a good deal.

The first night I arrived late at night and was in a kind of depressing room. Luckily the friendly staff moved me to a beautiful room for the rest of my stay. The staff was super helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again. So cool to have a kitchenette in the room!

Shower curtain too short and water covered the floor everytime. Not convenient for subway. .5 miles from subway that required transfers to get most places. The neighborhood was a little dicey. Had to ask a guy to move along to get into the front door. Front door did not close unless you pulled it shut. Found it open more than once.

Clean and modern, good ac, kitchen. Walking distance of movie theaters. Close to restraunts, small grocery stores.

It would be wonderful to have lamp on either side of the bed. The lights over head are very bright. A dimmer might have helped.

The window was broken which made it feel a little unsafe but in reality the area is pretty safe. We also didn’t get given a coffee maker despite asking for one.

Amazing location in the vibey East Village and a nice room with a great bathroom. Easy access and functioning air conditioning with a handy kitchenette for cooking.

Towels were very thin and floor mat was torn. No coffee maker. Only 1 bowl. Cups had lipstick marks. Toilet handle was very loose. Didn’t get check in information so had to call staff while waiting outside building.
