Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe interior of the pyramid is open so when you come out of your room you can see the whole inside which is cool. However the balustrades are quite low for someone as tall as me and weirdly gave me vertigo. not crazy about that. That aside, I would just say the whole place feels a bit tired.
My room was spacious and airy with one double bed. Quite basic but has everything you need like an iron and ironing board.

United StatesWhen i tried to checkin on the app, it wouldnt go thru. When we spoke to the staff to checkin, they advised that the room was already given out so they "upgraded" us to the silver section. While the room looked nice, the hallway to the room was stuffy and musty on the 4th floor.. There was wall paper peeling off outside our room like it it had bad water damage. the room ac didn't work too great. only one day did it ever feel cold.
facilities were clean in terms of the casino floors. staff was friendly.

United KingdomPrice quoted on Booking.com was a lot less than we ended up paying. This hotel (and possibly others) have invented a thing called "resort fee". This is just an extra charge and we could see no reason why this is not included in the price quoted by booking.com. We were charged an extra $45 per room per night.
Nice big room. Easy to book and check in. Friendly, helpful staff.

United StatesNo refrigerator. They allow smoking in this facility like the rest of Vegas. Parking seems like an afterthought. Line to check in/out was huge and key drop was overflowing. Huge security deposit for a room that has already seen better days.
The place is enormous. Huge open-air atrium. An architectural and engineering marvel. The elevators go at an angle. The windows in the rooms are slanted.

United StatesI had gotten texts and emails to do everything myself on tablets and made my own room keys. Considering there's a resort fee and the cost of strip hotels, removing concierge services (although I had no use for them) and removing the human element is a bit crazy. I checked in days before I even left my state and got a text a day before with my room number. When I got to the hotel and made my key, I had no idea what elevators I needed to access my room. I went to the desk and the desk person came across pretty rude while I was checking to verify my room number. I don't work at the hotel and I just got a text with a room number and your tablet did the rest. It's not like I then got a text with directions to follow from the tablet to my elevator and I'm being dense. Their tablet didn't give me instructions either. And the map wasn't clear about anything except for resort attractions. And even then I was still confused about how to get to the food court level, and I'd never even seen a way to get to the Oasis, and it was directly below my hotel room. Everything at this hotel is incredibly expensive. I understand that it's Vegas, it's a resort, they're going to gouge and upcharge. But literally the pizza place in the food court here charged $10 per slice of pizza. My elevator was actually closer to the "Mandalay Place" sky bridge and it was faster, easier and more convenient overall to get here for me from my room than the food court. They had a pizza place where the slices were $7. Of course, the food court is 24 hours, however it's significantly more expensive. I felt like even going to Excalibur and the MGM Grand was cheaper. I joined the MGM Rewards program after already making some purchases and wanted to get them added to my account. I bought tickets to shows on Viatour. I was told by the MGM corporate email that buying things third party can't be added to the account.
I really liked the theme of this hotel and the novelty of pyramid shaped building. The sideways elevators were different, and the cost was pretty inexpensive compared to many of the other hotels on the strip. Since I wasn't planning to use any of the amenities, this suited me just fine. I was in town for a wedding and this was very close to the meeting point for the shuttle bus to the wedding events. It was very pretty convenient. Being this was my first time in Vegas, I had to orient myself a bit too. I didn't realize that things were connected with trams and sky bridges. This definitely made it easy to go between places to get food, see shows and do some shopping. The view from my room was stunning. I arrived at night and just saw the lights of Las Vegas spread out below. I didn't think much of it. You didn't see the strip or have any kind of "skyline" like New York to see. Not even another hotel. And when I woke up the next day I saw a gorgeous vista of desert mountains off in the distance and the hotel's Oasis deck below me. It was a beautiful view and one I am happy I had the 5 days I spent here. I got myself an MGM Rewards membership and was able to add this reservation to it, so make sure to see the rewards desk when you're settled. The hotel registration clerk I spoke with was extremely helpful and friendly this time around when adding my rewards to my booking for me. She gave me a completely different experience compared to when first checked in which I detail below. If you go through the main doors and keep walking straight through past the luggage help station and just keep waking down the ramp through the Sphinx, there is a bus stop for the Deuce bus which brings you to the Harry Reid Rental Car building. I was heading to California from here and needed to pick up my rental to drive out so this was perfect. Spending $4 on the bus instead of a likely outrageous Uber cost was so much better.
