Very nice appartement with super nice view. It appears from outside a bit odd but if you walk in, you are more than satisfied. I enjoyed the view to the skyline and the location to center is super convinient.

We were at the side of the building looking out onto a tall building and car park and found the apartment dark. Our friends were front facing and there’s was nicer and brighter than ours

Great location being central. Easy to get around on foot. There’s a Giant supermarket nearby, we registered for a Giant card and got the savings on lots of things. Despite others saying it was noisy we didn’t find that and didn’t need to use earplugs although they were provided. The noise was only traffic from the road and didn’t affect our sleep.

Many maintenance things needed to be updated. The toilet seat was broken and slid when you used it. The soap and shampoo containers were broken off the walls and sitting on the floor. Lots of paint scratches on the wall where people have run into things. That’s not a big deal. Was on the intersection of three very very busy streets that had a lot of drag racing at night time. Obviously this has been an issue in the past as they have white noise machines in the apartments. Helped a lot. Every door in the apartment squeaked. Just needed simple maintenance. I let them know on the chat app that these were issues of the toilet seat was loose and the doors were squeaky. They acknowledged it, but had no reply. What would be done about it.

Beautiful location. Within walking distance of things we wanted to see. Easy access to Metro and Bus line. Beautiful views out the windows. The beds were comfortable. The shower was amazing. Very nicely decorated and furnished

The traffic sounds

Everything was exceptional! I love it. The only downside is that is next to an interstate and the traffic honks/sounds in the middle of the night are intense. Good for them to put ear plugs on the night table. From the second night it got better. That being said, I would still return there 🖤

We had no issues during our stay but the lack of a reception and personal interaction could be an issue.

The location was excellent and the 6th floor room had a great view. The flat was immaculate, the bathroom was great and the layout, with the sofa bed worked well for my son and I. Entry was easy to use and all in all a great place to walk in and explore Philly.

Set on a busy location which was hard for pick-ups and drop-offs. We were timed out of entering the apartment as we were early. Went downstairs to wait an hour when the kind building supervisor helped us with an early check-in online instruction which we couldn’t manage.

This particular Sonder operates on codes not key fobs as others. The apartment unit code kept failing even though keying it correctly. My last night I spent over 10 minutes trying to get in, and the lack of having in building staff or custo.er service on the phone was a huge detriment. They did not advise prior to arrival of any needed repairs yet late night got an email of them coming at 8am arbitrarily. Had to spend time waiting on chat to address they could not come in at this time. These inconveniences will significantly impact me continuing to use these, as I've been using these facilities for many years now.

This flat overlooks a major road junction and is near a motorway but the sound insulation is totally inadequate. It means that road noise is present all the time. The fact that earplugs were provided is indicative! This flat should be taken off the market until proper soundproof windows are installed.

The Sonder Onyx is roomy, modern, and beautifully appointed with a full kitchen decked out with all the latest appliances, including a washer/dryer. While the location isn't great, the floor to ceiling windows give way to beautiful captions of greenery. A nearby parking lot made it convenient to get in and out of the city as the building is steps away from major travel arteries.
