need new shower head in 1 bathroom and mirrors were corroding as were the light fixtures. But all useable. The sofa bed mattress was lumpy but arent they all?

Great location, walk to burbon st and walk to the superdome both under a mile. no need for car. easy to get in and out of bldg, and felt safe. our 2 br apt was just what we needed. Kitchen huge and plentiful!

The vistas out of the windows are not great; essentially parking lots and parking buildings. Some noise from traffic outdoors in the morning. Very low water pressure; made for less than ideal showers.

Modern and tasteful interior design. Proximity to French Quarter, Canal street, St. Charles and bus stops to access the rest of NOLA. Good applicances, comfortable beds.

The decor, while clean, lacks character and doesn't quite capture the vibrant spirit of New Orleans. Some guests might find the apartment a bit generic compared to more uniquely styled accommodations in the area. Additionally, both bathroom are adequate but nothing special and just provide shower and not a bath. The walls are stud and plaster and you can hear your neighbours, especially if they talk laud in the morning or late evening. The windows to the street are single-glazed and do not, in my opinion, provide any sound barrier from the traffic. Overall, The Louise by Sonder provides a satisfactory base for exploring New Orleans. It's not luxurious or particularly memorable, but it offers a clean, comfortable stay at a reasonable price point. If you're looking for a no-frills apartment in a decent location, it's worth considering, but those seeking a more authentic or high-end New Orleans experience might want to look elsewhere.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Sonder's The Louise offers a decent stay in New Orleans, though it comes with both pros and cons. The apartment is clean and reasonably well-maintained, providing the basics for a comfortable stay. The living area is adequately furnished, with enough seating for a small group. The kitchen is functional, equipped with standard appliances that get the job done for a meal preparation. All bedrooms feature a comfortable bed, ensuring a good night's sleep for most guests. Location-wise, The Louise is conveniently situated. It's close enough to popular areas like the French Quarter to be accessible, but far enough to avoid the worst of the noise and crowds. This makes it a fair choice for those who want to explore the city without being in the thick of things. The Sonder team provides a straightforward check-in process via their app, which is appreciated. The app also provides a way for a contact with the Sonder’s team should there be a need.

There was NO water pressure in showers. Outside and stairs and outside doors need paint so looks dingy. Not best part of town.

The windows really need blockout blinds or curtains to blockout the street lights. The bathroom sinks in both bathrooms were slow running. There is a car pack across the road behind the building and it can get noisy from about 7 am.

Well equipped apartment in a quieter part of the city but only a 10 minute walk to the French Quarter. Self checkin was straightforward although the code got changed a few hours after we had checked in without our knowledge. However a quick phone call and we had the new code. Why it was changed was a mystery. We also had an issue with the wifi which likewise quickly rectified.

It was VERY loud as the sound proofing from outside noise was nonexistent. Every night we were awakened at the wee hours of the morning between 2:00 am and 4:00 am by loud cars and shouting of pedestrians on the streets. Inside the rooms, the curtains were insufficient for the windows, completely absent in 2 rooms, and the resulting massive light pollution resulted in poor sleep for all of us. The property also needs a few extra finishes. Hand soap for the sinks, and additional towel bars in the bathrooms. Most frustrating was the use of water saving fixtures that reduced the strength of the flow to almost a trickle. Better fixtures use air pressure to reduce total flow while keeping the delivery pressure high so that the shower head is actually useable. If it takes 3x as long to shower, a 1.5x reduction in flow rate is nullified in terms of total water consumption. The most unpleasant thing in general though was the incredibly vile and strong scent of ammonia that permeated the hallway of the second floor where our unit was located. We couldn’t escape it and it was nauseating.

lovely and very central location. Apartment had very nice finishes but a few misses. Most pleasant surprise was the use of Davines product in the bathroom which are amazing and extremely high quality!

Was not given enough washcloths even after a number of calls & texts. There was constant construction on the road and could hear vehicles going over it all night long. I know it's not the fault of the Sonder.

Beds were cozy. Enough room for everyone in my party. Loved the Washer/Dryer.

It's a busy street and kinda loud in the bedrooms, I'd suggest some type of background noise. There is no TV in any of the bedrooms.

The mechanical aspects of the building weren't up to snuff. We got stuck in the elevator the 2nd time we used it, the fan in two of the rooms was mounted poorly, causing them to make a lot of noise when on, and the front door number pad broke, requiring someone to come out and fix the issue so that people didn't get locked out like we did.

The decor of the apartment was beautiful. It was very retro and very nice to look at, not to mention everything was stocked from dishes to soap, sponges, and other useful items. It made for an easy time cleaning up, and a comfortable trip.

All the bathroom doors were difficult to open and close (got stuck and made a loud noise every time we opened/ closed it). No fan in the bathrooms.

It was a little noisy at night due to its proximity to the road. The bathroom is not comfortable enough, the water flow of shower head is a little bit small.

the door in the bathroom was broken. there was no blanked for the sleeping-sofa. the sleeping-sofa was broken on one end, so it wasn’t a flat surface anymore.
