Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwedenThe room was a lot smaller than expected and not as brushed up as we expected, but considering the price it is still good. It's a room for sleeping, period.
The location is good and the staff was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast here was actually OK!

CanadaOur room was at the bottom of the stairs so we could hear all the other hotel guests clearly as they went up and down the staircase, if you are a light sleeper you may not want this room.
The hotel was a little difficult to find at first (Google Maps gave us incorrect directions, Grab map was more accurate) but once you find it it's great — centrally located in District 1 but set back from the main street down an alleyway so much quieter. Lots of sights to see and food/drink spots within walking distance and the neighbourhood was busy but felt safe, even at night. Room was quite small with just a bit of space to walk around the bed, but we were fine with this as we weren't spending much time inside except to sleep. The breakfast was great with an omelette/egg station, rotating local Vietnamese dishes, some Western food, and fresh fruit and pastries. All the staff were super friendly, helpful, and hospitable.

AustraliaDouble room we stayed in was much smaller than expected, it felt quite cramped. There was no city view or balcony like in the advertised photos There were two very small square windows, no natural light in the room, it felt like a cupboard There were water marks on the wall beneath the A/C unit Very hot without A/C, very cold with A/C More expensive than I would have paid for that particular room (601) although others might be better value for money
Staff were very lovely, helpful and accommodating Free buffet breakfast was nice but basic The entrance and breakfast area are well maintained and feels like a secret garden in the middle of the city Excellent location for exploring Saigon Room was clean and quiet despite being in the centre of the city The double bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean

AustraliaThis is a cute little budget hotel in a great location. We had 2 rooms which were pretty small/compact but comfortable. The lower floor room had no windows and the one on the higher floor had a small window. The rooms are clean and the hotel kept tidy.

IrelandNot an early riser so can’t comment on breakfast Can’t give 10 stars as no gym/pool
Kelly was exceptional - incredibly attentive to our needs and always so approachable. We’ve been travelling around Vietnam for two weeks and this was the best customer service we’ve seen. This is consistent with the great service in their sister hotel, Little Gem in Hoi An. The property was in an ideal location in District 1, while being situated down a little alley lended to its charm which other nearby hotels might lack. The beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean. If you can book the penthouse suite, it’s worth it for that extra space, comfort as well as a fantastic balcony with great views.

GermanyThe owners of the hotel were truly amazing, helpful and made our stay special. The breakfast was really good, with fresh fruits, scrambled eggs as well as vietnamnese-typical breakfast options. The location of the hotel was near all important sights in Ho Chi Minh City, so it was quite easy to reach everything by foot. The only negative thing was that our room was a bit small with no window and the A/C didn't work properly.

AustraliaGreat little hotel up a small alley which has a very good coffee shop, tea shop and small restaurant. Staff were beautiful… so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was good in a little cafe downstairs which gave both Asian and western choices. Our room was small, but we knew that before we booked and it had everything we needed. There is a lift also. It’s a lovely hotel with great ambience and we would definitely stay again

United KingdomVery noisy building work going on throughout the night which made sleeping very difficult, but this isn’t the hotels fault, just be aware if you have a room with a window facing towards the development.

Everything was excellent, the people are super nice and helpful, we stayed in a room with a balcony, plenty of space. The location is superb, walking distance from lots of nice places to visit and to eat. The hotel is in a small alley with no cars entering.

United KingdomThe smallest (reasonably priced) rooms really are small! Tiny window. Still, excellent value for such great tucked away location, and lovely helpful staff. We would have liked to leave a tip but no tip box and it’s awkward handing over cash to just one member of staff. Perhaps an option to add a a percentage to the bill would be an idea. The staff member who checked us out was unsure about this though.
Location is perfect! Plonk in the centre of everything and yet hidden away down a sweet little alley that has a great coffee shop on it too. Walkable to everything. Wonderful staff - special mention to Kelly, who was really smiley and always ready to help & she has a good understanding of English, which helped when we needed a hospital! We came back to this hotel prior to catching a flight from Saigon and upgraded to a larger room which we really liked. Decent breakfast too. Thank you for a really excellent stay in Saigon.

Right in the centre of the city but tucked away down a little alley , very quiet and the staff forgotten all the names but the 2 cleaners and the very helpful chap who helped with the luggage , it matches what people say about it on booking and trip advisor
