Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The monkeys that just budged in uninvited, you are in the bathroom they are in the kitchen taking all the food. The lights in the rooms were not properly lighting they were flashing in and out
Waterberry is improving, though it's still not in it's former glory but there's great improvement. I saw grass and flowers being planted afresh. There was lots of dry leaves but one thing at a time thank you for the improvement.

Cleaning of the chalets and changing of towels is done once a week, if you require it daily you pay an additional R250. There was a disturbing sound of pipes at night inside the room. There is no telephone to communicate with the reception or housekeeping. If you need an iron for example you must walk to the reception. There is no wifi in the rooms if you require access you can only connect if you are at the reception. The kitchen had cockroaches fumigation is needed. The walk from the swimming pool to our chalet was quite dark there were no lights.
The room was spacious and spotless. There is a shopping Centre with variety of shops like checkers and kfc, chicken licken. chilling at the pool and playing with monkeys was amazing. The view of impalas roaming around the resort was beautiful.

The lady at reception wasn't very friendly at the beginning. I do not understand why in 2024 there is no WiFi in the chalets, I was told that I had to come to the reception if I wanted WiFi, I had some work to do. How do you work on someone else's space? Another irritating thing is that there are no irons in the chalets, I had to go to the reception to ask for an iron. I was told that there were no irons, I was to wait until someone decided to bring it back. I had to go to a function with creased clothes.

Lack of renovations in all areas, pool area pool table, volleyball area tennis court and kids play area, place has lot of potential just needs little bit of love,
You can see that place used to be beautiful and it can go back to its glory days if renovations and maintenance can be prioritized. Nice place for quite vacation away from city life but close to town at the same note.

DSTV was not working until someone could fix it the day before we left :) The lounge suite was not comfortable at all so we didn't spend much time in the lounge. It was okay for the kids.
Overall the accommodation was very pleasant. The beds were super comfortable. Linen had a few small stains on however.. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was perfect

Place seemed very neglected.Pictures were very deceiving as if they were taken years ago. Putt putt is run down, there's no games room. Pool table was broken, pool was dirty

The first night when we arrived, our parking was occupied by another vehicle. The kids swings were dirty. The swimming pool did not look clean as well. The outside is not very well kept due to a lot of trees.
We liked the location, the hosts and the rooms. We also got to see springboks in the morning. The atmosphere was great with a great scenery.

Only issue we had was with one of the bathrooms, sink and shower drain kept clogging. Water was not the cleanest , so bottled water is recommended for cooking and drinking.
Unit was clean, well decorated, quiet and peaceful, in the heart of nature. The location was fantastic, many shopping malls and great restaurants in the vicinity, and quick drive to the Kruger National Park. Great resort, lots of wildlife. Front desk, Security and cleaning staff was friendly and welcoming.

The place does not look like it does on the booking app in terms of the fascilities on the property, apart from the units the other fascilities look like they haven't been maintained for a while.
The property is loacted in such a beautiful location that give you the feel of being out in the wild but if you drive 5KM you have malls etc so it is very convinient.

The problem is, there is no WiFi at the rooms, we had to walk about 300m to the reception to access network 🛜. And these days you need to be relaxed in your room with WiFi access in every corner of the house.
