Initial room was not up to expectation and we were relocated and on checkout the reservations manageress was amazing in advising that the upgrade would be at no charge.

Not enough sunbeds!! I saw another review saying the same but didn't believe it, my partner had to sit on a chair by the pool. A little disappointing for a small BnB, everything else was great!

Loved the pool, it has an amazing surrounding with a little bar. We had a great breakfast, the rooms are well designed & with a gorgeous view! Elijah was amazing, so friendly & helpful! The property is beautiful, I'd really recommend!

This is the fourth time we have stayed at Lavender Farm Guest House, on this occasion we stayed in one of the new suits overlooking the lake. The design of the new rooms is superb with views of the lake and mountains. As in previous visits the breakfast are lovely, The pool and gardens are all beautiful kept.

Absolutely wonderful guesthouse. Very spacious room, with large en-suite bathroom and separate toilet. Lovely gardens and great swimming pool, with sunbeds and towels. Magnificent views. Very nice and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast.

Nothing - everything was perfect. I suppose, free bottles of water could be provided in the room but other than that, It was perfect.

Perfect location close to but not too in the mixer. Ideal for the wine tram and the restaurants in Franschoekk. Perfect location.

This was my second visit to Lavender Farm Guest House. We stayed in Suite 16 and absolutely loved the view of the dam and lavender field, comfort of and world-class interior decoration of the room.

My room was by the pool but also, next to the reception and behind the room, it seems, I am not sure, they also store a few things. And so when I woke up, I found a few employees passing right in front of my room, maybe to fetch stuffs or something. It's just a bit uncomfortable. I had then to keep the curtains drawn most of the time and the windows having blinds on them and not much of a view, it darkened the room a fair bit. I would choose a different room than that one next time. Also, it would be nice to fix the little leak in the bathroom (near the door).

The place is beautiful. With its lavender fields and the pool and bar area, it is really giving off "summer holiday feels". And it felt lovely to be taking walks around or sitting by the pool to read a book and I truly enjoyed that. The staff were very helpful, kind and welcoming. I had a good night stay in their room next to the pool. The bed was comfortable. In the morning, the breakfast was really good. It's always nice when a place offers a wonderful breakfast and good service too! I'll make sure to visit next time when the lavenders are in full bloom.
