We really enjoyed our stay. The game drives were great and our ranger went above and beyond to find the animals we were most excited to see. Staff are all lovely and our suite was wonderful.

Rooms are a bit dated on the outside and pathways to them. Needs a bit of attention. The windows do not have thin curtains, so you need to keep the roller blinds down for privacy. No private place to enjoy a coffee in the rooms sitting area. You open the doors and the pathways are right in front of you. Did not detract from an amazing getaway.

The supper offering could have been better. The service during the first night was very slow, it seems as if they were short staffed. It rained during our stay and it was disappointing that they did not even have golf carts that could assist us moving from our suite to the dining lounge. So we had to walk in the rain and did not enjoy that experience.

Beautiful & tranquil location. The suite we stayed in was amazing. The breakfast and lunch offerings were delicious. The best part of my stay was the spa. The treatments were amazing and reasonably priced. We also enjoyed seeing some animals while driving the quad bikes.

The pool area, service not good and limited cocktails drinks on the menu. The staff also started removing the cushions at the pool chairs around 4:30pm which was annoying as it is the time to enjoy sun set drinks

The New Year’s Eve dinner was rather pricey for what was delivered… not great value for money considering we had booked full boarding and had already paid the conservation fees and for our drinks …

The safari drives and staff are absolutely fantastic. We had Khatu on the M21 vehicle and she was absolutely amazing…. Love love love

The door didn’t close properly (room 25) and the outside wind kept pushing it to make small knocking sounds, needs small adjustment to close firmly. Other than that, zero complaints, superb place.

Friendly staff, we asked for our room to be changed so we are next door to our kids room and that was an effortless change. The entrance smells amazing, lovely welcoming scent as you arrives the lodge.

Staff not properly informed about management plans. New improvements lack wuality workmanship, eg water standing under tables in outside area. Water from top floor at unit 49 running on the stoep of unit 49

The only thing we did not like was the fact that they charged us a surcharged us for new years eve without telling or asking us.

The peace and quiet. We experienced total relaxation. We would definitely come again soon. We also loved the safari trips and our guide Job was excellent and went out of his way for us.

We paid all board which covered for all the meals on the days we were at the lodge, but we received a surprise R850 charge for the new year's eve dinner that was not even communicated to the residents. The was no written communication or announcement at reception, just a charge at reception. Poor management on that part as it left most guests disgruntled and helpless as the reception staff were only doing what they were told.

The lodge was exactly as the pictures, the staff was exceptional. Special shout out to Salamina at reception for her warm welcome, Joseph and James at the bar and of course Job our ranger. Job was honestly very warm and knowledgeable of almost every animal and bird we came across, had to google a time or two and he was spot on! Will come back.

The room we got didn’t match the photos for the accommodation we booked, there were nonworking electrical outlets and lamps, sagging curtains, and no bath. Correspondence before we arrived was inconsistent; first we were offered airport transfer services, later instructed to book ourselves. The special occasion we listed in the reservation notes (milestone birthday) was never attended to and we had to send the same confirmation information multiple times. Aside from defined mealtimes, it was difficult to get a drink or snack until we discovered the convenience shop halfway through our stay, which wasn’t on the property map and no one mentioned it to us upon arrival. In isolation, none of these minor inconveniences greatly impacted our stay, but contributed to deductions on the overall rating.

The grounds and facilities are well maintained, room furnishings are clean and comfortable, food choices are plentiful and varied (buffet), game drives are consistently good. Overall service is courteous—and warm if you make an effort. Housekeeping was exceptional, and the fact that they accommodated an early check in after our long international flight was game-changing.

The reserve has quite a small population of the big 5 and wild dogs. We spent about 2 hours on the drive without spotting any of them. The showers are not very clean

The food was AMAZING. The venue looks exactly like in the pictures. It was a great stay. The staff were all absolutely amazing and friendly. They treated us with so much respect.

Reception staff extremely rude (one person). She got us to pay again after booking.com had confirmed that the amountwas paid. She lacked professionalism and bullied us. She was so vindictive she didn't give us the exit slip to exit the reserve. The guards had to call the manager to resolve the situation.
