There was nothing I didn't like. But just a note for future guests - the electricity sockets in my room were all European-style (I only had UK and SA adapters with me) and there's no 24h desk service. Though none of it affected my experience overall

There's literally nothing like Rosedene Lodge. Even before I stepped foot in Cape Town, Michael was in constant communication with me, sharing tips and making sure I've got nothing to worry about when I arrive. I had an early check in organised and got a very clean, ready-to-go room. The hotel is not brand new and shiny but it has a very charming character, beautiful rooms and a garden. And the location is super central, yet safe. The staff is fantastic and very helpful. Fresh bread for breakfast and their wine selection are additional pluses! I'd definitely stay there again!

We had a fantastic stay in the double/twin room with a pool view. It was such a treat to have a patio overlooking the pool - perfect for relaxing. The beds were very comfortable, the room was spotless, the WiFi good, and the entire property felt warm and homely. The staff were exceptional - so welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Michael, the owner, was easy to talk to and happy to give recommendations, he was a lovely host. The location was excellent, and we always felt safe and secure within the property. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

Fantastic location and perfect for spending time around Seapoint which has lots of amazing restaurants and cafes. The pool area was gorgeous and it felt very relaxing.

Rosedene Lodge was fantastic! I came for a relaxing four days and enjoyed the room, bed, shower, and breakfast. The property is comfortable and inviting. I really appreciated how how helpful the staff were. They were were incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. The property was close walking distance from the main street, water, and restaurants. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone.

We got upgraded in the garden suite with a whirlpool. The breakfast is very nice, includes everything you need. Michael is such a good manager, he literally explained the whole area of cape town to us. A very cute places, very familiar and cozy. A true gem!

Great place to stay in the center of sea point when you are looking for a quiet place. Very cozy house that comes with a little pool to relax surrounded by a garden. The manger is super helpful and gave us a warm welcome when we arrived.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was particularly good. The room and bathroom were in very good condition, very clean and comfortable. I had a TV there with Netflix access and you could use the WiFi everywhere (and it worked everywhere!). I also had my own little terrace. Breakfast starts at 8 a.m. One day I had to leave at 7:30 a.m. for a tour and the staff had prepared a small breakfast box for me. I found that excellent. I am very happy that I spent my remaining days in Cape Town in this accommodation and can only warmly recommend it.

The location in Sea Point is ideal being close to both the seafront and also plenty of bars & restaurants. The Lodge is a tranquil refuge with easy access to Cape Town city centre and the V & A Waterfront. The staff & facilities are excellent.
