Exceptional staff who are always eager to assist. The room was flawless—truly impeccable—and I honestly couldn’t find a single fault. I will definitely be returning for an extended stay in the near future. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and I travel frequently.

Overall the property is great; rooms have an antique charm without being 'old', and the plunge pools in the garden were a nice touch. The restaraunt also has an inner courtyard-feel which has a very romantic atmosphere at dinner.

What an excellent stay and truly wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding and the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The chef also outstanding food was 5 star!! The suite was impeccable, with clean, fresh linen that made the stay extra comfortable. After a very long day on the road, the air conditioning was an absolute blessing and made such a big difference. Everything was well maintained, peaceful, and thoughtfully prepared. We felt relaxed and well cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommended — we will definitely be back!

South AfricaThere was no top sheet on the bed. This means you either sleep under the duvet or under nothing. In the summer months a duvet can be too much, so a sheet cover works well.
The staff were exceptionally professional and helpful. They organised me access to the hotel garage to plug in my mobile freezer containing frozen meat. Breakfast and dinner was great. Room and all amenities was exceptional.

GermanyI'm always looking forward to my stays in Tulbagh hotel, as the service is extraordinary, the rooms are nice, clean and offer the right way of luxury I need. Breakfast an dinner on the terrace is always a charm. The whole staff is very professional and friendly. All together Tulbagh hotel is my favorite hotel in the Western Cape. There are more luxury acccomodations, but the level of luxury Tulbagh delivers is more than I need, and their friendlyness and quality never let me down. Regularly come here with groups and in private. Recommended for groups and couples likewise.
