United KingdomThe property advertises itself as five-star and prices itself accordingly. It is certainly comfortable but guests expecting a five-star hotel will be disappointed. There is no lift. The AC unit in the room worked well but was quite noisy and needed servicing. Staff did not know how to correctly prepare some of the drinks on the menu. More attention to detail would improve the value proposition.
The hotel offers comfortable and safe accommodation in Kabwe. The restaurant offers an extensive food and drinks menu and the food we enjoyed was well-prepared and reasonably-priced. Well-maintained pool and gym are available.

United KingdomBreakfast was a little inconsistent and if you came after 9, sometimes there was not very much left on the continental buffet. Until the last two days of my 12 day stay, the music playing in the hotel was one track that played over and over again. It played in the corridor outside my bedroom very loudly and several times through the night keeping me awake all night with the torturous one-tune on repeat! I did complain a few times to no avail and in the end, asked to speak to the lduty manager who swiftly dealt with this, so thank you! No iron and ironing board in room - you have to pay to get clothes ironed even if you just want to take the fold creases out!
The staff were just amazing! They were so polite, helpful and kind. Housekeeping do a great job, the rooms are very clean! Food is very good but portions are very large.

AustraliaThe wifi didn't reach our room so we had to go to the public area. For the price I thought wifi should be available in the room. The connection between booking.com and the hotel did not work. I had confirmation on booking.com but the hotel desk didn't get it. Fortunately there was a room available. This is the second time is has happened.
Everything went to make us comfortable: the staff were very helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable. High standard

The property overcharged us for our 3 nights stay and was quite hesitant to return the money. We spoke to a Finance Manager and another officer over reconciliations. Even after Booking.com had resolved the price of the rooms, they felt it okay to let us pay a high price. We left without our refund after many negotiations.

United KingdomI was overpriced for the room as the hotel price and booking.com price differed. I also booked and paid for the executive suite 3 weeks in advance for 2 nights, but I got given a standard room, which was very disappointing. I informed the manager how disappointed I was with their service, he was apologetic however informed me that all the executive suites were fully booked and I expressed my dislike considering I had booked 3 weeks prior to checking in, he stated that it was a major error on their part. The manager was nice enough to refund me cash for the first night and made the first night a free stay as they had made an error of giving me a standard room instead of the executive suit which I had paid for. The manager also ensured that the error was rectified and that the executive room was made available the next day.

ZambiaRoom was not ready when we arrived. Mistake made with our spa booking. Tea/coffee tray left empty (except for sugar). Shower was COLD. Overcharged for the room. Mercy the receptionist tried hard to resolve all issues and was very polite and apologetic, but when she asked her manager to authorise the payment correction the unfriendly woman refused to meet the rate that was clearly quoted on booking.com, just kept telling us her computer says it should be more. Eventually we managed to resolve the matter (we reduced the bar bill by what we believed we were owed and refused to pay the rest), but it took ages and we already had a very long drive ahead, so we did not leave in the best mood. The manager never apologised once for any of the issues we faced and essentially caused an argument with potential regular customers over what eventually came down to less than $20. She ought to learn some customer service skills from her juniors! Given the high price this hotel charges, we really expected better. We won't be going back, which is a shame since it's conveniently located on a route that we regularly drive.
Most staff were fantastic, in particular Mercy provided excellent customer service and really worked hard to address all the problems that we faced.
