I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, making it easy to move around and explore the area. The staff were always attentive and helpful, which made me feel very welcome. My husband has Parkinson's Disease and I asked in advance for an accessible room. Upon arrival, we had already been assigned an accessible room. It was beautiful and very spacious. The breakfast was good both days. The staff was very attentive. My husband fell getting on the elevator on Wednesday, November 26th and Elena (desk clerk?) ran to his assistance and helped him to his feet. She was wonderful and very attentive and concerned. I would definitely recommend this hotel and not hesitate to stay there again if we're ever in Chicago again. Special thank you to Elena. I wish I'd gotten her last name.

We loved staying here for lollapalooza weekend! A short walk to the busses and slightly longer to the train. We had to wait slightly longer for our room to be ready, but that meant we were upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom. When I was finally given a room, the hotel also gave us a list of recommended bars in the area which was awesome. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The bellhops were also so amazing and helpful.

The location is excellent, near fantastic restaurants and food markets and between 2 red-line stations. We felt safe as the staff was always present at the street and lobby level. The best part was the suite, with a kitchen area with microwave, refrigerator and Keurig, a sitting area with pull-out sofa, a King bed in the bedroom and the best shower at any hotel!

The view was fantastic. The booking was spacious and three bedrooms was nice for everyone’s personal space. We really enjoyed the rooftop view. We took the opportunity to make a family dinner and everyone dined together on the rooftop.

I really liked the location of the hotel and my room was spacious and beautiful.I also liked that there was a water station with bottled water ,especially because Chicago was so hot.The staff were friendly to me and all my questions were answered and I liked that they recommended so many good restaurants.

Second time we stayed there - staff friendly and easy to deal with. There was an issue with power outlets in our room - no electricity in the actual room - this was addressed in a manner of minutes. I would not see it as a big inconvenience, rather as an example how quick the reaction was. We were told that if it cannot be fixed right away, we will be given another room - there was no need. Room was very nice and spacious, same goes for the bathroom. No complaints, will stay again next time in Chicago.

Stylish, super clean and excellent location for visiting Uni of Chicago. The views from the room were amazing! I really enjoyed relaxing in the lobby with my morning coffee. My room was very spacious with an armchair and footstool and lots of wardrobe space. Bed and pillows were really comfortable. I really appreciated that they looked after my luggage after checkout so I could visit campus. Finally, from start to finish, the staff couldn’t be more helpful or friendly!

Great location, nice layout of the rooms with separate bathroom/vanity areas and bedroom, front desk and staff were great, and overall the value was fantastic when compared to similar hotels in the area. Access to multiple L train lines is within a 5 minute walk, and from our higher floor, noise from the street was minimal.

The location is in a great yuppie neighborhood for safety, eats, cafes, 7 11, Trader Joes, Target, sushi (2), breakfast (Yolk, Pancake House (2)). Also near the lake, 30 minutes walk to the beach, great Chicago views from lakeside, free Botanical garden and Zoo. The room was medium size, like a large bedroom. Staff is super friendly! Buses to downtown 30 minutes, Uber 10-30 depends on rush hour or not.

My room was really comfortable and spacious. The cleaning was on a high level. The hotel kindly accepted a package for me even before my arrival. The staff was professional. I absolutely loved the location and surrounding area. Even though I do have a couple of things that bothered me, I was pretty satisfied overall and I would look at the Ivy again for my next visit to Chicago.
