The place is amazing. You can walk directly to the beach and around, with plenty of things to do, like dinner or bars. Close by a CVS as well, if needed. Breakfast is also amazing!

Good location. Sea view and walking place outside of hotel. Rooms are very comfortable. Clean. Lots of parking space available and you don’t need to walk too much from your car to room. FAQs about hotels in San Diego

The Art of Easy Living

Sweeping along the coast against a mountain backdrop, San Diego has easy living down to a fine art. Its wonderful beaches and mild climate make it a favorite spring break destination, and with over 40 city breweries, there are plenty of ice cold beers to set the mood.

The city’s most recognizable landmark is the Hotel del Coronado, a wooden Victorian beach resort, now a National Historic Landmark. As original Spanish mission and first in California, it's has been relocated to the Mission Valley area, and Old Town San Diego still has many Colonial buildings and quirky shops. Also great for shopping are Horton Plaza and the boutiques in the beachfront neighborhoods.

The city’s most famous attraction is its zoo in Balboa Park, a few blocks from San Diego International Airport. One of the world’s largest zoos, it is well worth a visit, as is the fantastic SeaWorld, home to several killer whales. To see wildlife in its natural habitat head to La Jolla beach where harbor seals rest, or watch whales in season from Point Loma Lighthouse.

Just over the border from Mexico’s Tijuana, San Diego has a distinctly Latin American vibe and a variety of accommodations encompassing apartments, motels, B&Bs and hotels. See Booking.com for the best deals.

Our dinner cruise was wonderful but use a taxi or Uber since parking is limited. Jet ski ride was great. Sea world was a disappointment. Only one Rollercoaster working and if you're not using the app to direct yourself it is easy to get lost in the park.

The 5 restaurants we attended were so good!

The 5 restaurants we attended were so good! Coasterra, Ruths, Poseidon, Great staff, food and drink menu. Our cab driver Tino became our driver for 3 days. Met lots of nice people and the scenery was spectacular. Unfortunately the weather at 100 degrees stopped us from going to the zoo, safari or beach to swim, but you can't control that, or the Canadian dollar

Lovely weather and a great area to walk around in.

Lovely weather and a great area to walk around in. The Liberty Station area has loads of artsy things to see and do. The variety of food is excellent and there are little stores and restaurants galore. The San Diego Watercolor Society is on Dewey Road, is free and open to the public which right now is hosting an international water media exhibition, a definite must see!

There is lots to do in San Diego: One can spend many hours on the USS Midway and in Balboa Park. Interesting areas: Old Town, Little Italy, Lamplight District, etc. Good Mexican restaurants and brewpubs. We didn't have time for the zoo or SeaWorld.

The hotel is two or three blocks from the main street of San Diego's Old Town and a couple more blocks to the Old Town light rail ("trolley") station. I found the location super convenient as I did not want to stay downtown. I had an extra large room and suspect it had been converted from other uses so I cannot fairly comment on what the average rooms are like.

We spent a week at Daniel and Ricardo’s house. The house is very cozy and clean. There is a parking space, the kitchen is fully equipped, all the conditions for a comfortable stay. The house is in a great location, very easy to get to the main attractions We highly recommend staying at Serenity House near Gaslamp, San Diego Zoo & Petco 👍🌟

The receptionist was very helpful. We requested to leave our bags at the hotel at 10am as check was at 4 but they allowed us to check in at 10 as the room was available. Also allowed a late check out as we had a later flight out of San Diego.
