FAQs about hotels in Singapore

Asia in a Compact Package

Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, while maintaining their own identity.

Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is cheap and delicious dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.

For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city center. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.

As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo providing the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.

Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodations ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.

We had a day stopover due to a cancelled flight to Australia. We spent the day on the hop on hop off bus which was a fantastic way to see Singapore in a short amount of time. We had many food options during our stay. We ate Japanese dumplings at Suntec city. We arrived late in the day so we loaded up on packet ramen noodles and beer from teh 7-11 near our hotel. The view from the hop on hop off bus was amazing as we drove through all the quarters such as Little India, Arab quarters, the Botanical gardens and the consulate districts. I highly recommend this as an option to get your bearings or to see the city in a short time.

Singapore is such an exciting mix of modern and old . Safe, clean, so much to do and very easy to get around. This time we did Gardebs By The Bay, Marina Bay, Raffles ,China Town and walking, plus riding the MRT . We’ve been before and this was a stop over for two days . We love Singapore We ate Peranakan food at Joo Chiat which is a charming part of Singapore with beautiful historical shop houses . Petanakan food is a wonderful mix of Chinese and Malay food. Food in Singapore is amazing !

I love Singapore. I still wanna see more! I'm hoping to stay longer the next time I visit Singapore. During our last visit in July 22-23, we were able to see the music show in Gardens by the bay at night. It was fun! Even my son loves it! Then we spent the whole day in Universal studios on our second day. It is easy to get around Singapore.

It was clean and spacious. I have stayed in very expensive hotels in Singapore where there was no room for suitcases or the bathroom was tiny. This hotel was spacious and we were surprised to find that it wasn’t expensive and yet it was of a high standard. As we were in transit for one night the convenience of one stop on the MRT from the airport was excellent and a 3 min walk from the station. There were lots of food outlets next door and so we could find places to eat without traveling anywhere.

I think the room is small for its price and location, but it is the very few hotels in Singapore offering connecting room for family. The MRT and Jurong East Mall is a long walk from the hotel, about 10 minutes. The hotel is a standalone building in the area. The plus point is that it is near the Singapore Science Centre. It also provides shuttle bus service to Sentosa

Location was fine, Singapore is pretty easy to get around anyway. The good thing about this hotel was the washroom was actually separate and not just a frosted pane or a see-through window. Honestly, so many hotels in Singapore had that weird design, really not great for platonic groups of travellers, so M Hotel takes the cake here.

I was a bit skeptical after reading the reviews, but honestly, I had a lovely stay here. The best part was the jet bidet, or whatever it was called! Not all hotels in Singapore have this, so if it’s something you consider important, this hotel should be on your list. The staff were friendly and helpful as well.
