Quite close to the Lavender metro station but we mostly took Grab. There's a 24/7 kiosk downstairs if you want to buy water or snacks, also a bakuteh shop and a massage shop. Check-in/out was fast. Room was very small but clean, we didn't expect much given the value.

If you have a morning flight to catch, this beautiful hotel is for you. Seamless connection to the airport via shuttle trains, early breakfast, etc. Our spacious room was very quiet & comfortable, and climate control was great. If you have half a day, visit Jewel, the mega-shopping-dining-tourist attraction at the airport. It is connected to the hotel by a walking bridge & is not to be missed! The 5-story waterfall surrounded by orchid gardens is just the start. Restaurants are abundant although tailored to large crowds and fast food. Shopping is upscale and the people watching is great. FAQs about hotels in Singapore

Asia in a Compact Package

Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, while maintaining their own identity.

Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is cheap and delicious dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.

For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city center. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.

As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo providing the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.

Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodations ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.

Singapore has lots of lovely gardens and cultural attractions, most of which are free to visit. It is very pretty lit up at night wherever you go. It is a very clean city and very easy to get around using the MRT and buses.

    So clean!

So clean! It's not the cheapest, but you go to Singapore knowing that. We looked up local bars and eateries online beforehand, which were seriously cheaper than the tourist traps. Skinny's on the waterfront, Helens across the bridge. Safe, clean & exciting - we only had one full day there, which with travel, was way too short. Min four days, but you could do it all in two weeks :) In our short time we - Walked the Marina Quay and bar trawled. Shopped at Suntec City, and went to the Taoist Waterfall there Saw the Merlion Had dinner at Lau Pa Sat (Satay Street & large cold beers) Ate Xiao Long Bao - they are very good at this Chinese dish in Singapore Stayed in a Colonial Hotel on the way in (The Fullerton) & at a boutique hotel on the way out (Hotel indigo) - both amazing Suggest giving yourself extra time at the world's most relaxing airport....

Singapore is a great city, very clean, very modern and super easy to get around. Lots to see and do from the Gardens by the Bay (with the lighshow thats on every night) to the Botanic Gardens, the Night Safari at the Zoo, Singapore Flyer and all the great shopping centres. Try Kampong Glam as an area for dinner and a drink at Atlas Gin Bar. Or go up 55 stories for dinner and drinks with a great view at Atico bar at the top of the ION Centre. If you are after something more traditional try a Singapore Sling at Raffles.

Shopping was great. Enjoyed Little India. Grab is best way to get around. Always check the size of your hotel room before you book. Ours was smallest we have ever experienced. Weather very hot and humid. Paragon Shopping Centre good shopping and places to have lunch in airconditioning.

Amazing city - truly the pearl of Asia. It is a must see for everybody. There is so much to see and to do. Very well accessible by public transportation which is clean and runs like clockwork. I am not going to enumerate city highlights here, please use Google and ChatGPT for that.

This is my 3rd time staying at the Sofitel City Center hotel. I am glad that I chose your hotel for this business trip that last for a week, thanks to the help of your staff team. Over the past two decades, I have stayed at many prestigious hotels in Singapore. Nowadays, the quality of facility and hardware of 4 to 5-star hotels is not very different. What differentiates a hotel from others is the quality of the service which cannot be delivered without great staff.

The room was very spacious, which sets it apart from some other hotels in Singapore. The beds were large and comfortable, but we were provided twin beds, rather than a double - this was a little disappointing. The breakfast was reasonable and generous, but certainly not 'fabulous', by comparison to other hotels.

Good quality room for the price, considering how expensive hotels in Singapore are. Drinking water tab in the bathroom was very helpful. All the amenities provided. Probably the least shady Hotel 81 in Geylang area. Bus stop nearby.
