We flew into Bucharest and got the bus to Braşov, which was...
We flew into Bucharest and got the bus to Braşov, which was a shuttle bus 8 seats, 3 of us on it, took just over 2 hours, quicker and much cheaper than the train. 100 lei each extra 20 to be dropped at the door of our hotel, company we used was direct aero port, we used them to take us back to Bucharest as well then got a bus into the city for 3 lei. Brasov is really pretty with lots to see good for a couple of days, we had a trip booked to Brans castle and peles castle which got cancelled a couple of days before as peles castle is closed on a Monday, so the hotel kindly arranged a taxi to take us to Brans castle, he waited for us and took us back, brilliant service, we also did the bears in the wild tour from Brasov, we were lucky and saw two brown bears. There is 5g in Bravos internet connection was brilliant the whole time I was in Romania, Braşov definitely worth a visit.

Brasov is a nice town but it doesn't seem to be well maintained by the municipality. Historical buildings are left to self-destroy and there isn't much to see in the old city center. Otherwise, there are plenty of shops, restaurants and coffee places to sit, eat and drink. It's more convenient to walk around on foot than with a car. There are many car parking places around the old city center and all are paid. Parking fee is 3 RON for 1h, 24 RON for 24h, Mon-Sat from 8:00-20:00. Great city, with many things to do, gives you that middle-aged feel. Clean, and organized, you have the old part of the city but also the modern, mall, and shopping part if you want. Plus you are in the heart of the mountain.

The city has a lot of beautiful places. It is a historical town for Romania. You can check out the local cuisine, historical monuments and even the streets are very welcoming because the town is very clean and quite calm for the 6th largest town in Romania. When you finish your tour in Brasov, you can go to a mountain resorts that is almost adjacent to the city, called Poiana Brasov, renowned for it's skying adventures (applicable only in winter, of course), mountain hikes and very good cuisine.Dan RomulusRomania

Clean and big rooms, with all the facilities as described and better than any other hotel. And Breakfast? Its the best here. You feel like a king/queen with a serviced meals. They bring you to the table first the reach fruits salad with yogurt, then a plate with eggs, cheese salmon, cappucino. The service is excelent. Sorry forgot the names of the waiter and the chef!! They was great. Love you. And thanks a lot.
