We were surprised there was no visitor information centre.
We were surprised there was no visitor information centre. There is not really much to do at Batemans Bay unless you like fishing. Good fish and chip shops but little else unless you went to one of the big clubs.

A lovely area to stay with lots of beautiful bays and beaches to explore.
There seems to be plenty of activities to partake in (kyaking tours and river cruises), but it pays to book ahead to make sure you get to do them.

Room was lovely and bed very comfortable.
Room was lovely and bed very comfortable. Views from balcony over water and jetty very nice. Everything was very clean.
Unfortunately they were fully booked and there were no car spaces left under the building. Bit disconcerting when random cars are driving through checking out cars in the undercover parking area.
Bookings.com mention BBQ facilities- there are not. When we came back from a picnic there was a fellow going through the industrial bin belonging to the accommodation.

It's a beautiful little town which is very relaxing to stay at. The only downside is the lack of food options on a weeknight, and lack of quality restaurants. Other than that, we really did love our stay. For a relaxing time away with beautiful views and peaceful, waterfront surroundings, it's really lovely.

The atmosphere is great, the marinas and views of the bay are lovely. Accessibility is great and you are walking distance to alot. Cassies Beach is wonderful and clean - perfect for families with kids.
Sam's Pizza is absolutely divine for a full belly feed at a reasonable price.
The BoatShed had amazing fresh fish and chips!
Unfortunately most businesses and restaurants are closed on Sundays and it is hard to find somewhere to dine.
The rooms are very modern and clean. Our room was serviced while we were out. Our bed was particularly comfortable. There are plenty of things to do in your downtime (pool, relax in a hammock by the lake…which was unexpected, sit in the pavilion overlooking the lake). Breakfast was easygoing. A short walk over the bridge to the heart of Batemans Bay. A short drive to Nelligan (where I can recommend the Nelligen Kayak Hire business and River Cafe), Ulladulla (where I can recommend visiting Lake Burrill Beach), Broulee Beach and Bodalla.
We recently stayed at the resort located in Batemans Bay, situated on Clyde River. The convenient location allows for easy access via car, foot, or bike into the city centre for shopping and nightlife. Additionally, there is a short walk to Corrigans Beach. During our stay, we used the on-site pool which looked a bit dated but clean. The resort also features a game room located near the pool, which was a nice bonus. The staff at the reception desk were both helpful and nice
The cabins were large for our family of 5 and very clean and tidy. The beds were extremely comfortable and our cabin was beach front with heaps of room for the kids to run around. The amities were fantastic as we walked around the resort. Kids loved the jumping pillow and putt putt. Laundry was clean and so easy to use with the washing machine and dryer app. Even thought we only stayed one night it is definitely a place we will book again when we are down that way.
the caravan park was close to shops if needed , right across the road from the beach for beautiful walks, the pool and playground at the site is awesome for family and kids and anyone who want to swim. tennis court is a great size. the rooms are an excellent size and have everything you need in them.
such a convenient location.
a beautiful place to stay. Super clean, and rooms a really good size. the bed was so so comfy! honestly the best few sleeps I’ve had in ages. the staff were so kind and friendly. 100% recommend staying here, we will return if we come back to Batemans bay
Debs on reception was always on hand to help and the owners are lovely too! They run a great lodge👍
Close proximity to Batemans Bay, local shops and restaurants but more importantly, the beach! Only a short drive to others as well.
Sunrise at Corrigans though was so beautiful!
Immaculately clean and very spacious home in a perfect location. Has everything you need for a family holiday and also working station for remote working. Will be coming next time with the family and can effortlessly combine it with remote working.
The Location and hotel Facilities were great the outside deck and pool area and views were great .rooms were clean beds were comfy . I would say agin but only when they have a special/cheaper room rate going
The hotel is a little dated but has been refurbished well, for under $100 per night it was excellent value. The location in the center of town and right next to the soldiers club was an added bonus.
This little unit was so clean.
So Central.
It had absolutely everything needed for a short stay.
I would absolutely recommend it to anyone needing a stay in Batemans Bay.
