Great location, the must-see sights are all within 10-15 min walk, many bars and brasseries are just a few minutes away. The hotel is also close to the Saint Leu area with bars and restaurants near the river (10 min) (see photo). Parking in the nearby parking garage (90m away) is also good, it felt safe. It is a dog-friendly hotel and also the staff was very nice and accommodating. I got a room on the second floor and had a very nice view on the cathedral (see photo). I had a pleasant stay and on top of that the weather was sunny.

It is a lovely city and the hortillonages are very interesting and lovely to walk in. The cathedral is well worth a visit and we had the privilege of attending Sunday Mass there which we loved. Very reverent and befitting of true worship. Beautiful singing. We can also recommend Ad Hoc Café in the St Leu district. Good food and well priced; good vibe.

This visit (my second to Amiens) Day 1 started at the Saturday canal-side market, lots of stalls with seasonal vegetables, fruit and herbs grown in the Hortonillage and the Somme region. Then I dipped into some shops - including an inspiring visit to the ground floor of the big Monoprix where clever lighting makes quite ordinary day to day food look irresistible, some of the many new and secondhand bookshops, a huge ironmongers and an over-the-top patisserie. In the afternoon, to Jules Verne's house: a wonderfully, eccentric building; full of marvellous furniture and objects, very well curated. I spent the whole of Day 2 (7 am - 4 pm at the extraordinary - huge - Spring Braderie. I found that my visit to the Jules Verne house, and its thoughtful interpretation made the market especially enjoyable. Many of the stalls had examples of the things I had found so interesting in the house - for instance archeological finds, including flint axes, found around Amiens; corals and shells; endless examples of oil lamps (some working, other 'do-er' uppers). Many stalls had very good pieces of ceramic from different periods and cultures. Lots of the stall holders were up for a good bit of haggling. Then a glass of beer in the sun-shine ,sitting on the street outside a cafe, buzzing with laughing locals and visitors. Amiens is a very walkable city, its buildings are fabulous. It's lively and very clean.

Lovely old town centre and especially the cathedral. Well worth a look around. Nice cafes. Parking was initially a problem as large town centre car park ticket machines did not work. We got a side street machine which worked fine.

Amiens is a small city, and perfect for walking. The cathedral in particular, is spectacular, but it's not the only place of interest in, or around, the town. St Leu, and Les Hortillonnages, plus Le Jardin des Plantes, are well worth visiting and, of course, many of the WW1 sites are within very easy reach, by car.

Hotel was in an excellent position by the Cathedral. Hotel was modern and very well maintained. Room was large and fully equipped with a great shower area. There was even a small sofa by the window...just lovely for relaxing looking over towards the front of the Cathedral. Closeby to nice park. Also dog friendly with lots of areas to take your pet for a walk etc. Amiens is a great city for a short break or as a base for exploring the Somme area. No onsite parking but public car park very close by and reasonably priced.

Smart and comfortable place to stay on our way back to Calais following a long road trip. The hotel is well-placed for a road trip as it's on the outskirts of the city and has a car park. It was a 30 minute walk to the cathedral which was good for a leg stretch. The restaurant attached to the hotel is very good (though expensive). The room itself was very comfortable and we enjoyed a breakfast hamper in our room on the Sunday morning.

Easy check in with all information provided in a message. Quiet location. Modern (renovated) apartment with everything needed. Instant message replies for any questions. I have been to Amiens many times: this was far better than the cheaper hotels and compared to the expensive hotels, it offered kitchen, coffee maker, and a nice and authentic French aesthetic. I would definitely stay again.

Hostess is marvellous, attentive and friendly. The shower was new and spacious. Very practical and complete kitchen. Location was a bit away, exactly our target. We wanted to stay in quiet neighborhood instead of the center. Road connections are super easy to the coastal villages, to the center of Amiens, etc. Supermarkets at 200 m. Center of Amiens at 1 ,5 Km, 5 min in a car.

A small place that was quite old and tired looking. Location was good as Amiens attractions were easily reachable by walking. Plenty of eating options close by. Very close to rail station and buses. Breakfast was typical to France, but acceptable. Stairs were somewhat challenging, thankfully we only had to go to first floor! No lift.

I stayed at Hotel Le Prieuré which is literally next the the Cathedrale of Amiens, so the location is beautiful. The crew was nice with assisting me with my bags to my room, which was in another building nearby. The bathrooms were nice and clean same as the room. The breakfast was complete as well, even with pancakes and fresh fruit.
