Beautiful setting right on the beach. The hotel is modern and has excellent facilities. There is a bar and restaurant that overlooks the beach, perfect for watching the sunset. The room was very big, clean. modern and with everything you need. I only stayed one night but would be a perfect location for a longer family holiday.

We know the area and were primarily there to visit a friend. We were on a budget so had to use public transport, which turned out to be super easy to use. You can pay with cash or bank card directly on the bus (you can only buy one ticket with a bank card, however) or you can buy a loaded card with ten tickets (which you can use for more than one person) at machines at train stations, principal stops and tobacconists. Timetables are given at bus stops and are accurate. Make sure you know when the public holidays are, as these affect public transport considerably.
The bus journey to Biarritz station is less than half an hour (depending on the route they take) and from there you can travel quickly and inexpensively to St Jean de Luz, Bayonne and elsewhere. The three towns I have mentioned are so close by, yet so contrasting and are all worth a visit.
The number 36 bus (a little further away from the apartment - maybe 8-10 mins walk) give you access to beaches up the coast, like La Madrague. I used Google Maps a lot and found its advise re: public transport super helpful.
My teenage girls loved the frothy hot chocolate at Chez Cazenave in Bayonne, https://www.chocolats-bayonne-cazenave.fr/4-nos-chocolats. On our last night, we ate at Casa Juan Pedro, http://casajuanpedro.com/en/home, in Biarrtiz's old port. They were welcoming, and the food was delicious and simply presented (our party includes seafood enthusiasts and picky eaters).

Angler almost surrounds it more famous neighbour Biarritz, and there are reasonable bus services - at least during the day and early evening - between the two towns. There are sandy beaches, woodland, and the attractions and bars of Biarritz nearby. On the whole, a pleasant place to visit in Summer, and I am told pleasantly mild in Winter too !

You need to have a car if you stay at this hotel. There are three hotels in the same property, so if you go to the last one in the compound, there is a restaurant. No dinner available at the IBIS aeroport.

The beaches here are stunning. If you like rough seas, this is for you. Surfing and sun all the way. Lovely restaurants dotted along the sea fronts, along with bars that did great snacks and meals. Everything is doable on foot, but there are local buses and taxis available too, if you fancy going into the bussling town of Biarritz. Simply now my favourite holiday destination.

Anglet is close by to Biarritz & Bayonne, I like the quieter area, there is a coastal path/ promenade with bars restaurants dotted along it with beautiful sandy beaches. We stayed in Anglet last year for a short break on our way to Spain. I can't comment to much on Anglet town centre although it looked pleasant enough with shops restaurants etc when driving through.
It is a lovely area, Bayonne is well worth a visit, as is Biarritz - if you can find a parking space in the Summer as Biarritz is very busy.

Sad to say, most of the day was lost, due to the fact of gross neglect from the hosts/proprietors of our accommodation. However, we had a great evening with friends, old and new, at L'Etoile de Mer, Avenue des Dauphins, Chambre d'Amour, 64600 Anglet, France. Food and service was fantastic!
The hosts are really nice people. Gave us tons of recommendations on what to do in the area. Breakfast is nice! The hosts ask your preferences so you can choose what you want/don’t want to have for breakfast. The house is pretty close to the Anglet’s beach, there is a bus stop nearby to get to Biarritz or Bayonne. Overall, very good experience!
Many restaurants and stores were nearby. Also, the bus system passed near the hotel, and allowed one to go almost anywhere: to both Bayonne and Biarritz, as well as the beach. The WiFI was also quite good which was important to me.
Very comfortable rooms. Fully equipment. And a magnificent spa bath. Well located in Anglet, easy access and close to Bayonne and Biarritz.
Pascale was a very friendly host and provided a lot of useful information on the region.
Location in Anglet, just 1 minutes walk to Biarritz. Former villa of Vladimir Putin - Villa Altamira in Biarritz 2 minutes walk from the hotel. 3 minutes walk to beautiful beach. 5 minutes driving to Biarritz Airport.
The hotel has nice grounds, and you can walk to the beach. Breakfast is good and you can take it on the outdoor terrace looking at the golf course. There is a little bar with live music inside the hotel.
The apartment is in a good location, in walking distance to the beaches of Anglet, with parking. Eric the owner responded quickly to our requests and was always very kind. The apartment is equipped fine.
Well located, with the basics for one night sleep in transit. Very nice outdoor picnic area for having dinner at the hotel's entrance. Safe parking. Good price-quality relation.
The room was big and really comfortable
Staff was very kind in providing a cradle, bathtub and even a bottle warmer for our baby.
hotel is really in front of the beach.
Thé hotel is very close to the French frigate Hermoine, a wood sailing warship from the 18th century, but the owner/manager was unaware of the Hermoine.
