We truly loved and enjoyed our stay in the Gomang hotel - our room was clean, bright and spacious, hotel made delicious breakfasts both Continental and Indian food and hotel staff was very lovely and helpful in any way we needed. Gomang hotel is situated in the upper part of the Changspa road in calm and green environment that is a pleasure to walk around. In case you need to go downtown, it´s very easy 10-15 minute walk. We´ll be glad to stay here again on our next trip to Leh!

Superb Staff and their hospitality to make us feel at home all the time with their excellent and smiling services and who also went out of the way to all our needs and more.
B'fast and food at the restaurant with good room service. Location was 20 out of 10, it was tucked away and was close to important sites.
We got a room with balcony and a view of the mountains surrounding Leh.
Must comment the staff as they run around a lot up and down the stairs relentlessly even though there is no lift service.

5 days in Leh with my spouse was pure magic! We explored ancient monasteries, gasped at turquoise Pangong Tso, and hand-in-hand, braved the high altitudes. Leh's beauty brought us closer, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Leh is cold throughout the year.
Leh is cold throughout the year. That is the basic point we to remember. And at a altitude with its associated problems. Otherwise it is great holiday spot. So much to see.
A definite must to visit many times.

Most visitors to Leh prefer to stay longer to tour the valleys nearby. We went during the off-season and the main reason was to get away from the Delhi chaos over a weekend. So Leh served its purpose for us. The main market area has good cafes, restaurants and shops. Shanti Stupa is also present in Leh. Good vibes nothing less. Leh has a large Indian Army presence so we felt very safe and secure :)

Scenic views all around with the most amazing people! Momos were my favourite local dish that you can find at most restaurants. Love that Leh is more pedestrian friendly and quiet compared to the rest of India. Perfect destination for relaxation.

Its always in the bucket list of most Indians. Has the highest motorable roads, its a paradise for adventure seekers, highest saltwater lake, cold desert, treacherous roads, borders mof two neighbouring countries. Its a must visit place.

I was expecting a little more of the city.
I was expecting a little more of the city. The market is nice, I had some fine food, but the streets and sidewalks are too disorganized, there are signs "don't walk alone in the dark because of the stray dogs" (?!?!?), it's pretty smoggy and conservation in general is lacking. Came by bicycle through the Manali-Leh road, which was amazing, but the city itself wasn't a highlight of the trip.
The amazing views from the terrace while having breakfast, exceptionally big and clean washrooms, happening lobby space with games and amphitheatre, and quiet office space.
Yuvraj, with an amazing playlist and cheerful attitude keeps the energy high in the lobby.
The staff treated us like family. Yogesh, a well informed and budding standup comedian gave us a mind blowing tour of the nearby areas. Being an explorer himself, he is well informed of all the places to visit around Leh.
Overall, a memorable experience for life ✌️
I had a great time at the Snow Lion Ladakh guesthouse in Leh. Anu, Arnab and everyone there were extremely friendly and helpful. Anu is there to help with anything, and always a cheerful, smiling disposition. Arnab helped me out with tours and connected me with another group, who had a driver, so we could share expenses. The communal area was also very friendly and I was able to meet other travellers. Breakfast and other food there also great!
Loved the place.
The location is amazing, super convenient. The surroundings are beautiful. It felt like home. Since the moment I stepped in, Jimi was really helpful and welcoming. The food that Baskit makes is mouthwatering 😋 didn't miss home food at all.
Every minute I spent in the room was so worth it. Thank you Puma House for making my first Ladakh trip so great! Can't wait to be back!!
One of the best choices for my stay during my Ladakh trip, the owner is super helpful and helped me plan my trip itinerary and find me good deals for cabs and all other places.
Mountain view from the room is really nice to glance through! The staffs are very friendly and helpful.
Adjacent to Leh Main Market, Jig Gyas guest house is a really recommended place to plan your budget stay in Leh.
We reached Leh by an early morning flight. They offered us a place to rest before check-in. Room was big and clean. Property was very pretty. Since it's not a hotel, so they don't have a cafe. Kudos to the care taker of this property, He helped us with almost everything we asked. My wife had to work till 2PM so they gave us a place to work after checkout. All the best to the owner and staff.
I loved everything about this hotel. I splurged after spending a week in Ladakh with bucket showers and hotels without electricity or hot water. This place was heaven. Upon arrival I was offered coffee and biscuits. The bed was so comfortable. The balcony view was gorgeous. If I had more time, I would have stayed an extra night and slept in pure bliss.
Stok Village is situated approximately 15 kilometers southeast of Leh, the main town of Ladakh. It is known for its scenic beauty and is a popular destination among tourists. Stok Village offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and is a gateway to the Stok Kangri trek, which is a challenging but rewarding trekking experience.
The ambience, the quiet. The location. The staff, special mention to the owner, Mr. Dorji. Very cordial, accommodated us perfectly.
He made special Mulberry Jam for us & even gave us a full jar to bring back. (My mom was thrilled).
Everyday breakfast, all other meals, it was all better than the clichè hotels we go for most times.😀
Yang was an amazingly kind and helpful host, who helped me a lot with my first tour of Ladakh. The guest house too was really cozy for a very reasonable price. The food was pretty good too, and so were the rest of the staff. The fact that you wake up to views of the Himalayas is the cherry on the top!
Set in the Karzoo away from the touristy area but a short walk to everything. Very peaceful with a lovely garden and fabulous owners. A true Homestay. We had the corner balcony room with a view of the Leh monastery.
Try their delicious home cooked food made from what they grow. Highly recommend.
It was a home away from home. And, our host Mr. Sangay made us feel at home and, always went out of the way to assist us with whatever we could have asked for. During our entire stay, we're served traditional Ladakhi cuisine.. simple and tasteful. Highly recommended 👌
Comfortable and beautiful rooms in Ladakhi style and very clean!
Staff was very friendly, although they did not speak too much of English.
Lunch and supper were served with fresh vegetables from the garden and very tasty and healthy!
Great stay in Leh, close to the market, nice, simple clean rooms with wooden accents and cute bedside lamps. Lovely garden on the property. Loved the Korea restaurant in the guesthouse! Very friendly and accomodating staff.
Shib was friendly and helpful. He was able to help us sort out our onward travel from Leh. Unexpectedly all shops and restaurants were closed the day we arrived and he shared his own food so my children wouldn’t go hungry.
A home away from home. A traditional Ladakhi character home and very welcoming, courteous and helpful owners. Will be coming back with family soon and recommend to friends 😊
