The care taken by the owners was exceptional; very friendly and helpful with lots of advice on how to enjoy the Limoges area. Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Having access to a full kitchen was a treat. The French-style breakfast provided was delicious. All in all a very special place to stay and one that we plan to return to soon!

What a gorgeous chateau! Sharon and Dave 'the hosts' were very friendly and accommodating. The evening meal in the grand salon was just amazing. The Napoleon suite was very spacious and luxurious. La Chapelle Saint Martin, hotel in Bonnac-la-Côte

Hotel La Chapelle Saint Martin is located in a large park and welcomes you in an elegant country house. It offers an outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi access.

The location is good to explore the area and the limoges manufactures during the day and lounge at the pool late afternoon. It's a retreat. The staff is nice and discreet, the rooms are cosy and have almost all you might need (some amenities are missing and some were not replaced the next day), the setting is pretty and you can have all your meals on the property which is convenient.

The Chateau is delightfully eccentric in appearance and atmosphere. It is hard to describe the overall sensation , suffice it to say it was Delightful. The rooms and public areas are decorated with an eclectic mix of furniture and decorations from near and far. Transporting one back to a bye-gone era. Almost like stepping onto a film set but with more reality. I have British friends who have renovated a Chateau and it became very 'Proper' ,( not a criticism) but this one feels just like 'Home'. If you stay anywhere in the Limoges don't miss this experience. From the delightful and friendly Chatelaine ( ready to share the history and experience of the house ) to wild life, from the Pet Pig Gerard, chickens Cockeral and horses to the amazing Trees that cover the park . And on a very WET and cold May day the rooms were cosy and as warm as the welcome. I cannot find words to praise this house and experience enough.

A beautiful place to stay with friendly and helpful proprietor. Not a hotel, and for us all the better for being a family run b&b. Great to chat to other guests from different countries and the owner, who speaks good English, was great at facilitating conversation over breakfast. We appreciated the chance to say hello to the various animals in the grounds.
