The bed is wide and very comfortable - I had the best sleep after days of traveling and staying in hotels. Spacious room with a long table to put things on. Small balcony with a view of the mountains and the pool (room 14). Easy access just off the highway. Good selection of French TV channels. Free parking and strong wifi. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel in a great location. We got there early - before 1pm and were able to store our bikes and luggage for a couple of hours before we checked in.
Breakfast was simple standard fare, but very good.
Providing free WiFi, La Ciboulette is located on the outskirts of Foix, 1.2 mi from the center of the town. Guests can enjoy garden views.

Such a beautiful location, so peaceful with a creek, chickens and a sweet cat named Simba. Leena welcomed us so warmly and we enjoyed talking with her. She told us a bit of the history of town and castle, which was so interesting. She also recommended several places for dinner in town and we enjoyed that and walking around the streets. We slept great in a huge room with a huge bathroom, both very clean and comfortable. In the morning Leena made us an amazing breakfast with eggs from their chickens, honey, croissants, jam that her mother made from their own fruit, bread from an old traditional oven in town, it was all so delicious! Leena even told us where we might find chains as we were headed to Andorra and realized at the last minute that we were required to have them in the car.

A quiet, commuter sort of city. During our stay, the castle and the trail to the terrases overlooking the city were unfortunately closed, and likely will be well through 2024. This area would be much better to explore with a car to access the parks and farther out points. As it was, this stop was a letdown on our trip and our time would have been much better spent elsewhere.

In the center of the city of Foix there is a famous medieval castle, which is currently being renovated. Next to it there is a nice museum. Surrounding ancient part of the city is very pleasant. There are a lot of small shops and places to eat. There is a trail up to a nearby plateau with an excellent view of the castle and the city of Foix and of surrounding area. There are a lot of interesting places around Foix: the Devil's bridge, a forge with a museum, an underground river, and several castles.

A charming city with many interesting old buildings some of which have been renovated and some of which need renovation.
It is well-provided with restaurants; we had good food in Le Vertigo and the Bar Auberge Miranda.
It was unfortunate that the Chateau was closed due to the installation of an elevator - it should be open for summer 2024.

I was charged twice for the room.
I was charged twice for the room. Once through Booking and then by the Hotel; I don’t speak French and the manager didn’t or didn’t want to speak English. So I paid twice
Later on American Express resolved the issue; I had paid twice.
I would NOT recommend this hotel

Foix is closed on Mondays, so do not plan to visit the castle on Monday. There is was little to see or do in the town. Restaurants close very early and are not open on Mondays. The Visitors' Center offered a suggested visit to Forges. It filled some time. We were also caught in Foix when a General Strike was called. The town has very little to offer tourists besides the castle. A better castle to visit is located in Carcassone, just a short drive away.
It is such a lovely place at a very convenient location for visiting Foix on foot: it is at the edge of an old village just above Foix, very quick walk to get there, but it's wonderfully quiet and with a lovely, lovely garden. It has all the advantages of staying in the countryside and those of staying close to a historic town. The accommodation itself is comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished, though not very spacious. Oh, and did I mention the pool? A lovely thing to have at one's doorstep after a proper hike.
Location is just beautiful, we stayed in a beautiful mini apartment with lake view !! The apartment is modern and absolutely beautiful ! So nice for once to have a real coffee machine with great coffee!! very much appreciated! Dinner was delicious ( we had confit duck and lamb )
Great breakfast selection , local jams , juices , hams and again real coffee !! This hotel was actually recommended to us by our daughter who stayed here during a work trip !! Highly Recommend !! will not be disappointed !!
Silvia the hostess was very friendly and responsive to my queries about access to the apartment and about the availability of free nearby parking facilities. She rapidly organised the repair of a plumbing problem.
The location is ideal for access to central Foix and very near to the Place Saint-Volusien for baggage drop-off and collection.
The new apartment in an old building is clean and bright, well decorated and provided with all-new domestic appliances.
A spacious flat in a convenient location to walk around the old part of Foix. Very comfortable and clean. Check indirections arrived in a timely manner. There was quite a bit of construction right outside the unit during our stay, but the noise did not disturb us. Our stay in Foix was a bit of a disappointment, as all the attractions and trails we hoped to visit were closed, but this apartment was a good place to stay for a brief stopover.
The studio was perfect for my 1-night stay in Foix. It's very small, but still has everything you need: a fully equipped kitchen, and a small table to have breakfast at. Everything was renovated and well maintained, and it was super clean. The breakfast in the fridge was a nice touch. I had no problems finding parking on the main street and was able to walk in to the center of Foix in less than 15 minutes. Great value for money!
Wow what a spectacular and special place,! So charming and the views from the place were amazing - we spent the first 5 or 10 minutes snapping photos from the room! It's right in the medieval part of Foix, close to everything. The proprietor was very kind and patient, especially helping us park in the garage (not easy!) I really loved the place - a real treat!
Jackie was lovely. She made us a good breakfast every day and spent time chatting with us (which made me work on my French!). She is an artist, so the studio was beautifully decorated with art. Pretty little enclosed garden. Location is right in the center of Medieval Foix, which meant we could walk everywhere. Lots of cafes, restaurants, shops.
Good location for exploring Foix, Labouiche underground river, castles and countryside. Friendly and sympathetic staff. Clean and well equipped for a pleasant stay (air conditioned is a must). Deck with a stove, refrigerator and kitchenware. Quiet.
The hotel is very centrally located in Foix, closed to all the amenities and the touristic spots, as well as within walking distance from the train station. The staff were keen to help us with the storage of our bags prior to our stay.
Nice hotel in a great location. We got there early - before 1pm and were able to store our bikes and luggage for a couple of hours before we checked in.
Breakfast was simple standard fare, but very good.
We booked this hotel last minute. When we arrrived they upgraded us to the sister hotel which was lovely. They advised us where to park and that it was free on the weekend.
Perfect location for an overnight stop and to walk into Foix for a meal. Modern spacious clean rooms, stairs could be a problem for some people. Would definitely recommend.
The location was awesome, probably in the most centric street of the town, close to everything and it felt like living in the real Foix. The apartment was well appointed.
Simple room, nothing special but clean and perfect for a night on a road trip. Renovated bathroom. Outside Foix, but for US it didn't matter as we had a car
