The farm, the decoration is charming, it is like a trip to the past, the hosts are lovely, the animals are so cute, and some cows annoying at night. The area is very pleasant if you like the countryside and to feel isolated, there are only houses around, no place to eat or buy food on foot.
You can use the facilities in the kitchen freely.
There were mosquito nets on all doors and windows around, which was fantastic, because we didn't have a single fly or mosquito inside the room.
The bathroom has a bath and it is very nice!
No additional fees for a small chihuahua, and they were keeping their dogs inside for my dog to walk around.

A fantastic typical,quaint,historical,French village. A warm welcome from our English hosts and a warm welcome from the local French people. Lots of historical plaques and facts dotted around the village. A beautiful square to sit around with a cool drink or coffee on a warm French day.

If you want to get away from the crowds for some Rest and Relaxation, this is the place, very interesting owners really ready to please, Beautiful scenery and a great comfy bed haha, mine was just an overnight stop travling ip from spain to UK after 7 hours driving, it was a great stop over. i didnt eat here, travelled with my own facilities, but as they have home grown Lamb and Pork haha wished i had lol It wasnt terribly easy to find but stick with it its well wortj the search haha.

I could carry on but I will say, we stayed 2 nights as we're touring on motorbike but we would've stayed longer. The family are lovely and the animals 😘 the experience with the bird of pray will stay with us plus the knowledge. We would definitely recommend this hotel with the bird of prey experience to anyone, we are thinking of popping over in the car to do a longer stay in the future 😀

The chateau has been tastefully furnished and would make an excellent base for a longer stay in the area of Le Dorat. The hosts/ owners did everything they could to make our stay memorable. We found a great apartment with a garden in the beautiful old town of Le Dorat. We were welcomed by a kind and very helpful host. The apartment is in a quiet place with a beautiful view of the garden and the old town. Perfectly equipped, very clean, furnished with great taste.
