The only nice thing was that the bed had a plastic cover on it.
THIS PROPERTY STOLE MY MONEY.
They said they would block $50 as a deposit, and they charged that amount instead. I have called them three times so far, and every time they say we will get back to you. It's been two months now.

I was born and raised in Farmington Hills.
I was born and raised in Farmington Hills. We simply needed a place to sleep as we were passing through, so we chose an inexpensive Hotel in what I assumed was still beautiful town... THE KNIGHTS INN.. It was atrocious. The bathtub and toilet were soiled. The old brown carpet was filthy and appeared not vacuumed in ages. The walls had scuffs all over them. The wall fire alarm was torn off and not present. The door chain was broken and didn't work. The heater and air conditioner had magic marker indicators. The lighting outside was dark and it didn't seem safe as several people were wondering about at the late hour we arrived.

Farmington Hills is great.
Farmington Hills is great. I just had a negative experience with the Red Roof Motel there. There is a strong East Indian culture and presence. The historical region is beautiful. The restaurants are varied and plentiful.
We were vendors at the Farmington Founder's Festival.

Ask for a bottom floor room if traveling with a pet, unless you don't mind stairs.
L George's is right next door to the Red Roof Inn and they have really good food.
Pretty easy access to wherever one needs to go.

The free breakfast was ok, as I would expect for a free breakfast. The furnishings were fine.
But the comfort left a lot to be desired. The mattress was worn out and mushy to the point of rolling towards the middle. The bed was poorly place that one side was less that 12" from the wall and hard to get out of. The shower unit was dirty around the top edge where it meets the walls (I'm tall enough to see this). The coffee pot carafe and other dishes were still in the dishwasher from the previous client

It's terrible. As you enter the hotel lobby your van smell smoke and weed. The cleaning lady is the receptionist. The rooms say non smoking, but the rooms are very smokey and smells very disgusting. The entire hote is unclean. Never stay near. We are charged for the rooms type that are not available. Carpet is very very very dirty. Bathroom water tub is clogged. Throughout the night there is smoking smells coming inside the room. Waste of time and money. Could not sleep well.
No good things to say about this hotel.
The staff was really friendly and helpful. Omari helped me several times and was really efficient and considerate, but everyone was helpful and I had very good experiences with everyone. The location close to the freeway is a plus. The bed was really comfortable. I'll likely come back if I'm in the area again. No real problems with anything at the hotel, and it was exactly what I needed.
The staff that assisted me was AWESOME. I needed to change my reservation at the last minute, and it was done quickly and graciously with no pressure or questions. I loved my room #:422, and hope to always request when I visit The Delta Marriott, Farmington Hills, MI facility/location. Love the lobby area, so bright, clean and inviting.
Location is excellent. But the staff (especially at reception) was very rude and not supportive at all.
Facilities/Amenities are good. Hotel was quite expensive for the experience what I had. Breakfast was also not so good.
I've stayed here alot as I travel to Michigan once a month, and after searching and staying at various hotels in the area, I found this hotel to be the nicest and cleanest for a reasonable price.
Nothing The hotel staff does not know what they are doing, most are nasty and rude. The hotels elevator kept going out. The hotel needs new management and workers
