A very nice hotel with excellent views. It was refreshing to get away from the crowds and stay at this quiet inn. It is a ways from the city so plan transportation accordingly, but once you’re there it will be a wonderful treat! 5 stars!

Delicious breakfast and pizza dinner. Extremely friendly and helpful hosts. Comfy beds and clean rooms. Location was stellar - easy access to the trains for Cinque Terre and away from the hustle.
Located above Levanto, the door to the Cinque Terre, Al Terra di Mare is an eco-friendly and solar-powered property built in the style of a Ligurian hamlet, surrounded by vineyards and olive-trees.

If you want to get away from the hustle bustle of Cinque Terra and all the people this is the place for you. Beautiful views, hotel shuttle that can take you to and from the train station and back to town. The breakfast was beautiful and truly they go out of their way on how they display it. Terraces are nice to sit out and have a bottle of wine and they have a full bar. My bed was excellent and I’m really picky. Can say enough nice things about this hotel. I would definitely come back here. Bonjour.
Set in the green hills of Liguria next to a stream, the family-run Abetaia Hotel offers a friendly welcome to the Cinque Terre. Levanto center is 10 minutes' drive away.

Location was wonderful for those who love nature. Be prepared to see other flights near the property and in front of windows, doors.

Great central location. Nice secure parking lot with a gate. Friendly helpful host that allowed us to check in early and leave the car before exploring Cinque Terre. Terrible breakfast with only pre-packed items full of sugar.

Great location near to beach -great sunsets. Very pleasant town with wide choice of bars, restaurants and shops. Nice laid back feel and not overly busy (unlike the Cinque Terra!) Has its own railway station so good connection to the Cinque Terra.

Levanto is a true treasure.
Levanto is a true treasure. A perfect synthesis of what Liguria is. Its natural beauties, its little bay has nothing to less than the nearby 5 Terre. Its Ligurian stand and elegance, surpass even the wonderful Portofino. Not to mention the high quality of its food. Everything will push you to get back.

We found this to be a very good option for visiting Cinque Terre since train station was close and easy to use. Our weather wasn’t great so didn’t get to see as much of Levanto as would have liked but glad we stayed there.

Super convenient to Cinque Terre towns via the train.
Super convenient to Cinque Terre towns via the train. The top restaurants in town are really good, but reservations a day or two in advance are a must. Nothing seemed to be too fancy, but still nice and very comfortable. Rent a bike, the bike ride up the coast is great: flat and easy through the old railroad tunnels. If you want an umbrella and chairs at the beach, reserve ahead or get down there early...we did not and it worked out, but nicer at other spots.

It was a good base to visit this town and others such as Cinque Terre, Genoa, Pisa etc as has good train links. Not a place for young families as limited facilities to keep them entertained so primarily a location for adults.

Lovely town with long beach promenade.
Lovely town with long beach promenade. Not as busy as Cinque Terre villages so nice to return to after visiting them. Large beach. Ideal base for Cinque Terre as all villages are a few minutes by train and Levanto is also on direct line to major cities. Several hikes begin in Levanto including one to Monterossa (first Cinque Terra village). Would recommend.

Our stay at Palazzo Vannoni was very pleasant. Great communication, welcome, information about equipment and possibilities in the hotel, accurate information about the surroundings and excursions. Francesca gave us great restaurant advice. Breakfast in the hotel is varied, tasty, made from fresh ingredients. Rooms are clean, air-conditioned, spacious enough. Great location in the center of Levanto. We definitely recommend and want to come back again.
The host and staff were so friendly and helpful with any info we required. Breakfast had a lot more on offer than the other places we stayed in Italy. The pool was a bonus after the walking trails. Levanto is a lovely town to escape the hoards of people in cinque Terre this year.
It wasn’t problem for us but if you have mobility issues Levanto is flatter
I have recommended to friends already !!!!
I can say we got the best breakfast here during our 2 weeks stay in Italy. You can have several options to pick typical a breakfast other than sweet croissant and cookies. The hosts was very friendly and helpful. You get also a parking permission to park in the downtown (free). And we also got a detailed description with a map what to see and how to get there. So we can recommend this place :)
Levanto was a perfect base to stay in for exploring Cinque Terre - it's a bit flatter, easy access to the train and had a great beach for swimming and surfing. The accommodation itself was a really great size, clean tidy and comfortable. Nadia was absolutely amazing to communicate with and even helped us recover some items we had left behind by accident. Highly recommend
The location is perfect for those who move around by car, it is close to Levanto from where you can explore Cinque Terre by train. THe host provided us with the free parking voucher in Levanto and a voucher for two sunbeds in the bar on the beach. Truly lovely.
