The location is great for those who travel by car: not far from the autostrada and with a free parking lot. The bus stop is nearby and the Mestre center is also well-accessible by foot. The room was clean and the furniture was all-new.
Very friendly and helpful staff on the reception desk. There is a possibility to buy the Venice tourist card or bus tickets directly at the desk.

Located just across the lagoon from the Venetian islands, Mestre is the mainland part of Venice and has cheaper accommodations, with easy transport links to the historic center. However, the city has more than just cheap hotels going for it.
Host to several festivals throughout the year, huge Parco San Giuliano has fantastic views across the lagoon towards the Campanile and dome of St Mark’s Cathedral. Also worth a wander round is Forte Marghera, a former Austrian fortress on an island in the middle of star-shaped canals. One canal continues into the center of the city and is lined with restaurants and bars.
Pavement cafes can also be found in Piazza Ferretto, a triangular square with a 12th-century clock tower at one end and the Teatro Toniolo at the other. This popular spot for a passegiata also has a modern fountain and several boutiques. Also good for shopping in Mestre is the Le Barche center, a rather uninspiring building from the outside, but packed full of stores.
As for nightlife, Mestre has a number of clubs, including one at Tessera near to Venice Marco Polo Airport. Don’t fly out of there without having tried the little homemade cakes called "mignon".
The city is dirty. The city is a suburb of Venice.
The city is dirty. The city is a suburb of Venice. The city is full of immigrants. On a holiday, it was hard to meet an Italian. The family did not feel safe, even though no dangerous situation had occurred.

Mestre is the perfect place to stay if you wish to spend time in Venice. You can get a bus that brings you to the islands of Venice in 15 minutes but you are also near a train station that can bring you to other parts of Italy in a quick and convenient manner.

Mestre is definitely underestimated area of majestic Venice!
Mestre is definitely underestimated area of majestic Venice! I have just distributed this very location such as lovely Italian atmospheric place with a variety of restaurants with an international cuisine, bars, coffee and souvenir shops, clothing store with different budgets. Jewelry Stores with more exquisite products and also a bit touristy like. Museums and Art Galleries. Parks.

If you are intending to visit Venice, Mestre is the place to stay. It is so cheap and easy to travel into Venice daily it takes only a few minutes on the train .Hotels are reasonably priced as well. From the railway station it takes about 20 minutes to walk into town, There are several places to eat and drink, I don't think Mestre is a destination town, we used it as a base to get to other cities like Trieste, Padova and Vicenza.

It is a good place to stay if staying only a night or two when visiting Venice or going to Marco Polo airport for a flight in early day. The area around the train station is a bit sketchy as is common in many cities. However, you can find good, clean, safe lodging there. Checking out the "shopping district" was no big deal, the streets to arrive or return were "ok." However, what I really enjoyed is walking around the neighborhood on other side of the train station. The houses and walls surrounding the properties had interesting details and it seemed to provide a sample of "living" there.

staff extremely friendly and helpful (waited for us until 1AM bcs we had delayed flight) also provided us with water bottles at checkout and helped us with Venice City Tax, room was very nice - clean, huge, AC. Private bathroom with shower/bath. Comfy bed. Wonderfull view directed to a quiet street. Will book again if we go back. Location probably best in town - flixbus stop 300metres, Venezia Mestre station 300 metres, public station directly in front of property but pretty quiet. Late night shops close by.
The hotel was very clean and quiet. In walking distance you can find restaurants, shops and the train station that takes you in only 10 minutes to the old town of Venice. Good value for the money and the staff was very friendly and always helpful!
We booked a triple room, but we slept in the queen bed with our 3 year old and had plenty of space. Breakfast was fine and fresh, but the same every day. Overall we recommend this hotel if you want to stay in Mestre.
Excellent location 5 minutes from Mestre station. 10 minutes to Venice. We were upgraded to a free room category and it was about 80 square meters with a beautiful view. Unlike most neighboring hotels, these are apartments with a kitchen. There is a large Spar in 3 minutes. Free luggage storage. Safe in the room. Dishwasher, balcony, Nespresso coffee machine.
Very friendly staff =)
Its a very nice hotel close to Venezia island,10 mins with bus which very close to the hotel. The stuff there was very helpful and cool.Close to hotel are restaurants and super market. For sure I will choose it again if I will go again to Venice.
The hotel is new and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Very close to Mestre train station. There are restaurants and markets nearby. Good choice to stay while visiting Venice
