What a lovely, absolutely beautiful gem of a boutique hotel! The look and design of the hotel, restaurant, pool and hang area was amazing, it gave us that African vibe we wanted. Very relaxing and chill place. Great staff and they are well organised. Yummy cocktails, and their restaurant offer tasty meals. We were really pleased with Zan View and highly recommend the place to future guests.

I was upgraded to a bigger room and I had my own outside seating area. Excellent and plenty of choices of food for breakfast. The restaurant also served delicious lunch and dinner. The location was safe and quiet. Security on property. Friendly owners and staff. The back up generator really helped when the whole Zanzibar lost power for several hours.

Poa Poa is a truly magical place! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely comfortable and relaxed. Our stay was wonderful, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar. The staff's warmth and hospitality were exceptional. They went above and beyond to assist us with some travel issues (unrelated to the hotel), and we are incredibly grateful for their help. The food was also a highlight – every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. Thank you again for an unforgettable experience, and a special shout-out to Wiktoria and the other gentleman (whose name I unfortunately don't recall) for their outstanding service and dedication.

I stayed at the property for the second time and no regreds. It is what you need to get the best out of Zanzibar. Beautiful sea view, exceptional staff. Special thanks to Mr Simai, as always, the most welcoming person, with huge attention to details. Beautifull breakfasts, nice beach, Indian ocean, this is unforgetable. You also have good restaurants nearby.

Kiwengwa is a perfect place to spend time with the family.
Kiwengwa is a perfect place to spend time with the family. Exquisit nature, kind people and the best food. Boat trips, beach activities, village strolls, getting to know the culture of local people who are very knowlegeable about the natural agriculture and extreemly kind and nice. We loved every minute of our stay at Kiwengwa.

I loved the colour, clarity and temperature of the water.
I loved the colour, clarity and temperature of the water. The sand was so soft and almost white. I didn't like the hassle on the beach though. It was easier to stay at the hotel to avoid it. But that's not why you visit another country!

Quiet part of the island with beach among the nicest.
Quiet part of the island with beach among the nicest. That meant fewer people and tranquility which was what I was looking for during that trip. The hotel was also exactly what I need. All the facilities (gym, massage, sports activities) + excellent food at a reasonable cost. And Fatma the day manager was great. A wonderful person and soul

This hotel is the best we’ve had in Zanzibar. Gloria was an angel as well as the other staff! They did everything from second 1 until the last second to make us feel like home. The room was insane, directly at the sea, and so was the food! If you’re still doubting to come here this should be the last sign, can’t suggest this hotel more! The best decision! Thank you!!!
It was a Lovely stay at a small cozy hotel in Kiwengwa.
Fresh coconut water Wellcome drink and small presents of local souvenirs while check in was a pleasant surprise
Spacious and close to the beach room. Every day cleaning and accurate decorations.
Nice food, well performed.
Attentive manager Suleiman and always smiling and happy to serve staff.
Asante Sana.
This was an amazing surprise! Location, staff, food… the food at the PoaPoa restaurant, OMG! Soooo delicious! I had book a bigger hotel to stay in Kiwengwa but at the end we changed for a smaller and cozy place. Why? It’s prefect to rest peacefully and enjoy the beach.
Loved the hotel. It's location and closeness to the beach.
Also loved the staff and their help in organizing excursions in Zanzibar especially Mr. Remo. Superb job!
