Was visiting family and needed a place nearby to stay, this spot turned out to be a great choice. Slept really well, and the air conditioning worked great in the Bali heat. Would stay here again for sure next time I’m visiting.

The traffic is dire much of the time, but the town has everything you might need as far as restaurants, shops and entertainment go. There is enough to do in and around the town and short strolls at the edge of town have rice terraces and streams to enjoy.

The central location in Ubud was great with a really nice selection of restaurants and activities.
We had our driver take us to the rice terraces and to some waterfalls which were beautiful and the water temple.
We are and older group (early 60's) and some of the activities were a bit strenuous with lots of hills and steps, but we could go at our own pace and it was worth having the chance to see such beauty.

Ubud was quite central to activities such as quad bike riding white water rafting rice fields a jungle experience and more relaxed as there is no beaches if you choose a nice resort its a win win . As traffic is hectic in Bali ans you could spend hours in a car getting to a destination I recommend you stay local to your activities in that area then move to another part for other experiences because your on holidays you don't want to spend 6hrs travelling and 2 hours adventuring .

Ubid is a place where you can experience busy tourist town and also rural places if you travel a short distance. Ubid palace, rice fields, Mt Bature, coffee Plantation are few places that you could experience a true holiday.. Mt Bature is a volcano little far from ubid. You can experience the sun rise combined with a 4WD experience. Sun rise view with lake at Mt. Bature is a wonderful experience. Rice terrace is also a good way to see local paddy fields of bali. This place has got a swing and zip line adventure which is really good. Coffee Plantation is another place to see a Luwak and experience how they make coffee from coffee seeds in a traditional way. Sukawati local market is a good place to purchase some fresh veggies and few tender coconuts... Local people are very friendly but pay respect to their culture when entering temple and in general.

My favorite places are Tukad Coffee Club, Coffee Plantations...
My favorite places are Tukad Coffee Club, Coffee Plantations, Sari Timbul (well not sure if these places are located exactly in Ubud but this is part of my Ubud tour :) )
I ate lunch at Tukad Coffee Club, wish i have more time so I can try the pool too. I'll definitely come back for longer time stay.
Satria Coffee Plantations is a must visit, but I wish I was with friends to share the free drinks to taste, it was too much for me lol
Sari Timbul is small but you'll be amazed how beautiful it is, especially when these guys will take your photos and videos..
Being solo traveller is no problem as each place you go, there are people to take your pictures and it will turned out to be really amazing photos.
I like Bali Heaven Swing but it is crowded. Long queues is not for me, especially if weather is bit hot. i also find renting dress bit expensive. I don't know if they even wash it everyday.. but the people taking pictures and videos of you are very talented.
Had a short stay but will definitely come back to go to other beautiful places that are already on my list.

Exceeded our expectations. Our room was stunning, I’m glad I didn’t book the private pool villa cause the communal pool is just as stunning. But a massive shoutout to the most remarkable kind beautiful attentive staff. The staff are always what makes a trip, I use to work in hotels myself so I appreciated them so much. Janey was a divine energy and cannot thank her enough also.
I have lived at Ibah before and I must say that it always delivers. The new management was exceedingly good. Good communication and solved some issues perfectly. I am very satisfied and will book at Ibah next time again. One of Ubud's best hotels in my opinion and I have lived at most of their competitors.
Quiet and serene, private dip pool was clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. This was by far one of the best hotels/villas we have stayed at in bali to date. Nice and close to Monkey Forest, easy walking distance to restaurants, tattoo parlours, main shopping yet quiet and you cant tell how close you are.
The whole experience was wonderful, the staff were amazing , 5 star treatment throughout our stay. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The restaurant had a great selection to choose from, pool was also fabulous overall 10 out of 10
I booked this stay last minute after not liking my previous hotel. Arya is an amazing hotel! i loved everything about it and look forward to staying again. This is one of the best hotels in Ubud!
