Staff were absolutely amazing. Extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and had good views. Not as close to the main hub but not too far and the amazing stay will make up for the short walk/grab ride away. 10 out of 10 and if I’m ever back in Hoi An, this is where I’ll stay, 100%. Thank you.

My stay at Hoianese Heritage Hotel was truly a 5-star experience! From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcomed and well taken care of. The entire staff was so friendly and always ready with a smile.

I have stayed at this lovely hotel on two occasions now, once as a solo traveller and again with my partner. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone, the rooms are large and immaculately clean and the owners are so welcoming. The hotel is located on a quiet island 8 minutes motorcycle drive from Hoi An old town, there is a local population on the island and this means there is a peaceful, community feel to your stay. You can hire push bikes and motorbikes from the hotel at a good price. The breakfast is also very nice!
We look forward to staying here again ☺️

Hoi a was incredible, somewhat magical with the lanterns and small shops in the ancient quarter. We also went to a bang beach which was a great day trip. We made lanterns which was much more fun than expected. We did the lantern boat ride on a lunar lantern festival night, also magical.
The ceramic village was not our thing but we have a ceramic wheel at home. The dragon in Danang was an experience but we were split if worthy of the 1.5h round trip drive for 10 minutes of fire breathing and water spraying.
Morning glory restaurant was incredible in Hoian.

The ability to walk the 'Old Town' and market place during the day with numerous cafes and restaurants for drinks and snacks alongside or away from the river was fine. Needed when weather can be hot.
Evenings were full of colour (lanterns etc) short boats trips and again plenty of restaurants for meals and drinks. A lively atmosphere with many bars having live music plus a large busy night market, if that's your thing.
Finally, bike hire is easy, at some hotels its free, great way to get around and see the local area

Hoi An has a nice vibe, we visited the ancient city, rode bikes to the beach and lovely coffee shops off the beaten path. The people were very kind and friendly.
The is a little bit of persistence from vendors, but not like other countries I have visited. Someone is always trying to get you to visit a tailor they know, but a polite no and they will leave you alone.

I have been to Hoi A several times going back ten years or more. I used to stay at a hotel located between the old town and the beach, on the river, but it is no longer in business. Over the years the town has become more known and visited to the point that it is now extremely crowded and commercialized. I would recommend staying in Da Nang and doing a day trip to Hoi An.

Hoi An is a beautiful UNESCO town with easy access to nearby beaches too, so you truly get the best of both worlds.
In the evening, you can take a boat trip along the river and light a paper lantern to make a wish. A truly lovely and unique experience. Sadly, over recent years, there has been an increase of commercialisation in the area so there is a lot of neon lights and bars now on the main riverside which was disappointing to see.
Hoi An is also a great base to stay if you want to explore other areas e.g., Da Nang, Golden Bridge and Hue, among others

Very pretty and clean accomodation and relaxing atmosphere in a quiet area away from the busy old town and near the beach. The staff is super friendly and helpful with e.g. booking trips without being pushy. The breakfast was very good. Laundry is free and you can rent a scooter (10 min drive to Hoi An old town).
Tip: we can highly recommend Môc restaurant & cafe, it's 15 min. walk or 3 min. with scooter from KA Villa and definitely worth it. It was the best food we had in Vietnam and owned by a very sweet family!
We stayed at Rustic Villa for 6 nights and enjoyed every bit of it. It is a very friendly, family run homestay. The rooms are clean and spacious and the style is rustic. The family are very friendly, helpfull and concerned about your well-being. You just say what you need, and they arrange it for you. Every morning you get spoiled with different vietnamese food by the lovely Xuhn. The beach and the Old Town is just a 15 minutes ride away on a bicycle, which you kan borrow for free. A very lovely place.
Amazing beautiful hotel.

The breakfast was very good.
Great selection of food.
The location was perfect.

There was excellent local food to eat in the area.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat

Best stay so far in Vietnam.
Thank you for having us🙏.xx
We loved that the staff were incredibly helpful with everything. In fact the nicest staff on our trip around Vietnam and we have stayed in many hotels. The beds were so comfy, our rooms were spacious and walking distance to nice local restaurants. Old Town only a short cheap Grab ride away. The management should be very proud of their staff. Breakfast was a lovely selection suited to our needs. A great 4 night stay.
The staff were exceptional. We stayed at a mix of hotels during our stay in Vietnam + this was our absolute favourite. Morning beach walks, ocean swims fresh coconuts + fruit platters + and quick walk to a great yoga studio…then lunch in old town. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful.
