Check in (and check out) was efficient. Rooms were quiet and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very reasonably priced as an add on and provided us with a nice choice of food (including a number of healthy options) and beverage.

Took a taxi from the train station. Approximately 33 Euros. About 20 minutes.
15 minute Uber ride to airport in the morning approximately 25 Euro.
Room was very nice. Clean, bed is comfortable, Modern bathroom. TV only had Spanish stations and staff were not able to help us find any English speaking stations. We were not expecting to find many, but we have never traveled in Europe without finding at least one or two.
Numerous tapas restaurants and bars within minutes (walking).

Madrid is a wonderful city and that is a review that hates cities. For a capital city to be value for money and the walking tours0 the free ones) are brilliant and you learn so much.
Bars providing true tapas is also great.

Madrid is a beautiful city and easy to get around via public transport. Too many sites to see in 3-days. Good restaurants and coming from the States prices are reasonable. People were very nice in general. We will likely go back.

We didn't have much time in Madrid, but we enjoyed just walking around to take in the sites and our time in Retiro Park and at the Prado Museum. Both the park and the museum (last 2 hours of the day) were free.

Really nice, lively city, with good foods and evening programs!
You can visit the most important sights within 2 days if you are not planning to go into any of the famous museums. Naval Museum near Plaza de Cibeles is a hidden, less known gem with completely free entry. Visit the Mercado de San Miguel on Monday or Tuesday morning to avoid crowd. Try Museo del Jamon is you wish to eat & drink cheap. By tickets to Prado, Royal Palace in advance! Temple Debot is free to visit, but you have to register online in advance. Strongly suggested not only to take a trip in Madrid, but also to take a trip to nearby Toledo.
Public transportation is excellent, even at the ticket machines at any stations, there is always some official person to help. For a trip of 1-2 days, chose the Tourist Pass with 10 tickets, it is the best choice.
If you wish to take the train to anywhere (suburban or long-distance) from Atocha station, arrive at least 30 minutes in advance, as there is a baggage control, similar to airports.

Highlights were the guided tour in English at the Prado Museum; boating on the lake at El Retiro; the architecture; street entertainment. We mostly walked around the central area, but we did one Metro ride and one taxi ride. Both were easy and cheap. There are loads of restaurants and tapas bars so even if you are quite picky, as we are, you can find something to suit. It was very busy, and often difficult to get a table at an outside terrace in the central plazas. English is not so widely spoken as in the coastal resorts so a little Spanish and a phrase book is useful.

Madrid is a nice city for walking, visit the museums, palaces, mercados and parks. It is also convenient to do day trips to Toledo and Segovia. Public transportation is convenient and overall cost of living is still reasonable.

Everything was super. Staff at reception desk was nice and polite. If you need hairdryer, some extra higyene products, or something else, just ask. My bedroom and bathrom were small, but in city centre are old buildings, with limited options for upgrade. Just keep in mind that you are in beautiful Madrid, and you will forget size of the room, or noice from the street 😉. For me, position of hotel is the best thing. Considering that I travel alone and had early morning flight, 24/7 reception desk was very important and helpful.
The location of the hotel is great, as it’s located on Gran Via right in the city centre. The staff was very nice and helpful, the rooms were clean and the view from the sky bar was amazing. We only stayed for one night, but the overall experience was very positive.
The staff are very friendly and professional. The location of the hotel is ideal.r
Right beside the Royal Palace and the city centre.overall a very good experience. When I do visit Madrid again I will definitely will stay there.
The variety of food provided in the continental buffet.
The location of the hotel is excellent in Madrid city centre.
The room was spotless and the Wi-Fi was excellent.
Good location and friendly staff. The rooms were spotless. We visited Madrid for New Year and hotel was not far from the city centre. Also 50 yards from a metro stop.
