Very lovely and clean property with a gorgeous view! Excellent breakfast. Free pick-up and drop-off to port/airport which is a plus. Walk to town down many uneven steps and terrain. Wear high traction shoes! This is the only disadvantage of this property.

Pretty not as expensive as I was expecting but a still over my budget and not really worth it. Makes London look like the deal of the century. Proprietors are naughty with their prices they charge the depending when the cruise ships come in and you get charged more if you say you're from London, my partner is part Peruvian so we got better rates when he spoke Castilian which made me feel uneasy with people being two faced to me. However busses though few were great. Better to pre book transport from the UK sites first saved about £10 a car/taxi trip or get a hotel like makis place that have their own mini bus.

We were there for a friend's birthday the end of March which is off season. There were enough restaurants and a few shops open, but I think traveling a week or more later would have made a difference as a few more places were opening up the weekend we left. Beach clubs are all closed until May 1. We took a 4 hour tour so we saw the entire island which was great. We really liked the people of Greece and the food is fabulous!

Avoid when cruise ships are there (morning to 17:00), the amount of tourists is unbearable. instead go after the cruise ships are gone and you will experience a peaceful time in Chora in mid September.

Mykonos is great for whether you want a relaxing vacation, a bit more of a party atmosphere - or a mix of both!
Book a hotel with a stunning view to relax at during the day, and then head down into the old town in the evening for dinner, drinks and dancing. If you want it a bit more chilled overall, I suggest going late September / early October (although make sure you go before places close for the season!) - you might also find the hotels have better deals at this time.
Be prepared for things to be a little bit expensive - this is not a cheap vacation. The island is small, has to import a lot of goods, and is seasonal, so the prices tend to be a higher than a lot of other places across Greece.
For eating I would generally avoid the restaurants along the front, these tend to be tourist traps and you will spend your time trying to dodge them trying to reel you in. Instead take a walk through the maze of streets and try and look for some smaller places. If you want to keep it cheap look out for places that do souvlaki and gyros - there are loads - try out Sakis Grill House!
For bars, I would suggest Lola's which is great for a fun time, great staff, and delicious cocktails. In the day and searching for coffee? - then try out Soulmates - they do great coffee and have a cute little courtyard for you to sit in and plan out your day.
Getting around the island is easy. If you don't plan on getting a car, then book a hotel not too far from the old town - our hotel, Tagoo, was a 10 minute walk to the old town. You can also hire cars, mopeds and quad bikes if you fancy an adventure. Transfers from the airport are easy with the likes of Uber / local taxi.
Overall you will have a great time in Mykonos with the perfect blend of relaxation and lively nightlife. I recommend going for any length of time up to a maximum of a week.

Absolutely amazing Crystal View Suites run by a lovely family, Margarita and her father, were very accomodating to us as we requested a pick up prior to check in which they were able to work with, they even offered us free water and recommendations of atv hire. The family upgraded our room which was very beautiful considering it was our first time in Mykonos. The Premium room offered its very own self contained suite with terrace over looking the coastal views, hotel is very quiet and calm despite only 5 mins away from the main town centre.
the location is excellent if you are planning to go to the down town, walking distance about 5-10 min but on returning back it Is a steep elevation and always in Mykonos the road are tight so you have to watch the cars, the sunset view is Stunning , the swimming pool is small but it is enough to chill, the best thing I enjoyed in the hotel was the friendly staff , I forgot their names unfrotuantely because of my bad memory, but all of them were very lovely
Gorgeous rooms and perfect location (walking distance to the town but still further enough away to not be bothered by the noise). When you arrive Chris gives you a list of recommendations for everything and he didn’t miss - every single one was well worth it! He is super attentive and anything you need he will have it sorted within minutes, I’ve never experienced service to this standard and have stayed in some of the best hotels in the world.
The location was perfect! 5 Minute walk to bus station for beach clubs etc. But plenty of clubs in Mykonos City where the hotel is in the heart of. Staff were lovely and very accommodating! Definitely worth the money, and one of the cheapest options we could find within Mykonos. Would definitely recommend.
Everything was amazing from the moment we arrived. The staff, the room, the heated pool, the food... truely a divine experience. Walking 10 minutes into town. Fully recommend this hotel if you want a personalised luxury experience. Thank you!!
