2 of the The receptionists were extremely rude, she looks Hispanic, I forgot her names. She made me feel scared to even ask a question. She said one term I did not understand and tried to politely ask for clarification. But she was extremely mean and very dismissive. I felt very disrespected, and we were excited to want to like this place, but those 2 Hispanic looking female receptionists were way too rude for us to like this place. NOT going to book it again, and we rather pay more to stay elsewhere and not feel uncomfortable be treated rudely with no reason. I usually gave 5 stars to places. But this place with those bad employees definitely hurt their business. I hope they get better training and learn how to treat and respect their customers and learn
how to do business better.

The staff at the front desk were very friendly and the whole vibe of the place was nice. The room was nice as well and they’re very pet friendly for an extra 15 euro. They also have tv monitors at the front desk that give flight times and updates. It was a nice touch.

Built on seven hills facing the Tagus River, charming Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world. It showcases unique tram rides, intimate Fado performances, great dining venues and much more.
The city is famous for its districts: Belem's famous monuments; Alfama's labyrinth of streets, bars and small shops; and trendy Alcantara's docks. Lisbon’s most popular nightlife and shopping venues are in Bairro Alto, while the traditional heart of the city beats rhythmically in Baixa.
Enjoy a walk through Jardim Botanico, admire the architecture of the Jeronimos Monastery or explore the Feira da Ladra flea market. The Chiado area serves the city's best traditional Portuguese cuisine. No meal is complete without the famous pasteis de nata!
Getting to the city center is only a metro or bus ride from Lisbon Portela Airport. Whether you want a luxury hotel, a friendly guesthouse or a cozy apartment, Booking.com has plenty of accommodations for your vacation in Lisbon.

Lisbon is a big bustling city so be prepared for that experience. As with so many big cities around the world, we didn't find the people to be particularly friendly. With that said, the people at the hotel and various restaurants we ate at were extremely nice and friendly. There are a lot of interesting things to see nestled in the old part of the city so I would recommend a 2-3 hour walking tour.

It is a gem by itself and a good base for further, sometimes surprising discoveries. Give it a week at least, better more. Some notes:
- Walk - as much as you can. Bairro Alto, Chiado, Alfama - they are all good.
- Fado should make your evenings. Walk along da Espera in Bairro Alto, and you will easily find a moderate dinner place with fado from 7 p.m.
- Take a train to Sintra for the whole day. You can get a discounted ticket for walking outside the building right away, without booking time and staying in the line.
- Take a train or tram to Belem, walk by the river in the morning and see the monastery late afternoon, with less time spent in the line.
- Arrabida is not far away, we took a wonderful kayaking-snorkeling tour.
- Evora and megaliths are available in a one-day tour.
- Get a Navegante card for public transportation. You can use it even on a ferry from Cais do Sodre to Casilhas, to enjoy great views and good meals.
Enjoy!

Viagem card from Metro 2 was very useful for getting around and can be used for Sintra and Cascais. Overtourism is a real problem so would advise booking tickets for Sintra and other tourist spots such as Belem well in advance

I particularly enjoyed exploring the historic Alfama district and visiting the Belém Tower and Jerónimos Monastery. The viewpoints across the city, especially Miradouro da Senhora do Monte, offered stunning panoramic views of Lisbon.
I dined at a mix of traditional Portuguese restaurants and modern bistros. Time Out Market was a standout for its variety and quality, while local spots in Bairro Alto and Chiado offered excellent seafood and pastries, particularly the iconic pastéis de nata.
Lisbon is quite accessible. The public transport network is efficient, and the city is very walkable, though some areas are hilly. Taxis and ride-hailing services are also readily available and reliable.
Walking tours are a great way to get oriented, and the city’s many museums and historical sites make solo exploring very rewarding. A sunset cruise on the Tagus River was a highlight, and there are plenty of cafés and bookshops that make for relaxed solo stops. Day trips to Sintra or Cascais are also excellent options.

Better and more friendly service than I've gotten in most 5 star hotels. Everyone from the front desk, to the bar tender, to the restaurant staff to the room cleaners - All of them were truly exceptional and friendly. The room itself was spacious, clean, and sexy. Bigger than the pictures make it seem. The restaurant food was also great, and make sure you catch a cabaret show while you are here. It is worth the money! Finally, it is located centrally, right next to metros, bars, and restaurants. You won't do better in Lisbon.
It is so easy to get from Lisbon Oriente Train Station to the Red Metro line to the Lisbon Airport and then walk to the hotel. I had one large rolling suitcase. The short walk (200 meters) was across a main road, but there are crosswalks and, the best part, it is all downhill to the hotel! I chose the location because I had an early flight and the metro doesn't open until 6am, so I needed to be close to the airport and not deal with traffic problems, etc.
It was very clean, the staff were really attentive, the facilities were good and we even got a free room upgrade.
The breakfast was good too. Although it is a bit far from the centre, you have a free shuttle bus every half an hour, the metro is also close or by taxi is also really cheap to reach the centre.
One of the best 5 star hotel I have been to.
Clean and comfy, friendly staff in a quiet leafy area of Lisbon ,easy reach to the centre and airport via the metro or a 15 minute walk to marques pombal where you can catch the hop on hop off bus. .very good shower one of the best we have had in a budget hotel.
The service levels of a super luxury 5 star hotel but mixed with a beautifully appointed apartment. Joanna is an amazing host and cannot do enough to make your stay simply perfect. We love Lisbon and especially this property. See you soon.
