First of all, the location was amazing, and that's the reason I didn't care about the noise. It's really central and has a lot of restaurants around and metro station and the staff were really nice.

London is a huge city, which can be quite daunting for travellers. It also has an excellent if somewhat shabby public transport system, which makes getting around the city fairly easy. I use an ordinary Oyster Card, not the Travellers' Card, as it never expires, has no restrictions and is easy to use and easy to top up at Underground stations. There are some wonderful museums and galleries in London, but you do need to pace yourself not to get museum fatigue. Theatre and music in London are outstanding. It is worth going online before you get to London to see what is on offer and make bookings. For instance, you need to book in advance to see monuments such as Westminster Abbey. Eating out is not a problem in London - there are thousands of places to eat. Again, go online to see what is available near where you are staying or where you are visiting. Fast food is always dreadful, wherever you are and London is no exception. London is also a relatively safe city. Simply take the usual precautions you would in any large city to ensure you keep valuables safe. I have never felt in any danger in London as a single woman. Enjoy your stay!

    Its Awesome City.

Its Awesome City. Great network of transport through Bus and Subway and trains. You can visit almost all historical places in 4-5 days of time. If you guys love visiting museum then spare full day for British museum and Natural history Museum each. Search for Indian food you will get ample options. London eye Thames River cruise was most Fun activity due to great guide. Visiting and taking Lords cricket ground was memorable experience.

London has been a 'local' destination all my life either for work or leisure although I would not really like to live there. Things to do for me are the west end shows, the food - although be careful to avoid the tourist traps. The pub culture can be really good although again try and avoid tourist traps. Getting around is pretty easy and I really enjoy using the Public transport, especially the standard London buses, not the hop on hop off buses as you can very easily tailor your own at a fraction of the price and get to far more destinations. I'd also recommend going on the Uber boat on the river as these are a great way to see the city from Chelsea, up through and past the Houses of Parliament and onto the city.

London was okay, been here many times already, mostly the same. No escalator, no lifts in tube, street is the same. Trains / metro and tube are hard to find. May come back in another 30 years later.

I can't recommend London highly enough!

I can't recommend London highly enough! I would happily return for more adventures. Our trip was made even more wonderful by the fact that the spring weather was glorious during our 10-day stay. We preferred navigating the city by bus, because every ride was like a sightseeing tour. Super easy to catch buses wherever you want to go and with Google maps, you can easily track bus schedules and where the bus will stop. You can easily get to museums (we visited the Tate Modern and the Tate Britain -- both well worth it!) and other touristy sights (Westminster, Big Ben, St. Paul's). One evening we had a lovely dinner at the Ivy Tower Bridge followed by a stroll along the Thames with the bridge all lit up. Would recommend. So beautiful! We shared a pint at the Mayflower pub (the oldest pub on the Thames and the place from which the Mayflower supposedly departed). Super fun.

The room I was booked into was just amazing I’d recommend this place more than Travelodge/premier inn type hotels etc because this room is like a studio flat, so homely, close by to central London and what makes it that much more special is the staff and without them we wouldn’t have places like these so thank you for what you do here I appreciate and love the place and will definitely stay again and again

Location was ideal, the staff were great, the shower was good (excellant water pressure), and the value for money was brilliant. Free luggage drop off was a plus too. Breakfast was included however wasn't utilised in my case. For roughly half the price of even the cheapest hotels in London, to see any of these amenities included was a welcome surprise.

Dry close to Paddington Station so ideal when arriving and leaving London. Staff very friendly, facilities clean, bed comfortable and when I booked it was cheaper than a Travelodge or Premier Inn. I didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on bar or restaurant. I’d stay again if I needed a room in London.

Great location in the historic part of London. Rather less expensive than other 5 star hotels nearby. Great stay if you like unusual twist about the place where you are staying - the building previously has been a main police office of the city.
