Occidental Fuengirola is located right in front of the sea and in the center of Costa del Sol.

Our stay at Occidental was superb! The location was the best part because of proximity to the beach, restaurants, and other activities we enjoyed. We could comfortably walk to wherever we wanted to go. The hotel is beautiful—light, airy, and welcoming. Staff were courteous and helpful. Our room was clean and a perfect size with a comfortable bed, great lighting, and the balcony was where I lived when not out and about. It faced the sea so was great! The pool area was clean and had plenty of comfortable seating. Drinks and food were readily available near the pool or inside at the bar. Breakfast was fantastic! Plenty of options and all delicious. The omelette and fresh fruit were my favorites. We highly recommend Occidental Fuengirola and hope to return there some day!

Communication with host was very good. The entry code was accurate and we were able to get in later than expected due to train delays. Room was clean but a bit small for us as we had two large suitcases. Breakfast was delicious, Sara was delightful, and we loved the upper terrace where we could sit and enjoy the view.

    Fuengirola has many restaurants and bars with lovely food at a reasonable price. Spain loves tourists and don't let any media clowns tell you this is not so. Loads to do in and around from the Bioparc to other attractions. A great selection of shops too. We loved the hidden gem called the Ice Cream Cafe, not too far from the Bus and railway station. You will be so glad to find it!

    Great place to visit with lovely beaches and great restaurants and plenty of good food. Location is also central location to get a bus or train to Marbella, Mijas, Malaga Centro, Airport, also not leaving out Miramar Mall.

    I have visited Fuengirola very regularly over the last 40 years. The town is small and nothing is pushed in your face. It has a wide variety of restaurants, cafes and bars to suit all tastes. There is something for everyone close proximity to the beach, easy access to trains and bus services should you wish to explore further.

    We were pleased with the size and comfort of our sea view room. It was clean and both the superking bed and the safe were a bonus. We didn't eat at the hotel but I can vouch for the cocktails - they weren't the cheapest but they were well made and were served in glasses (not those ridiculous novelty numbers). The location was very convenient and we were just minutes away from the sea, shops and restaurants. It was excellent value for money and we'd be more than happy to return.

    The hotels location was superb with views over the harbour and along the coast in both directions. A 5-minute stroll takes you to the train station which connects Fuengirola to Malaga and all the coastal towns and resorts in between.
