I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient, and everything in the hotel and the room was perfectly clean. The mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the bed linen was fresh and pleasant to the touch — it really made for a good night's sleep.
The check-in process was quick and smooth. After check-out, we were able to leave our luggage in a special storage room at the hotel, which was very helpful. The staff were caring and attentive, always ready to assist.
Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from — a great start to the day.

The building / hotel is beautiful, the staff are great and the location is good.
The room was HUGE with a separate living room & the bathroom had both a shower and a tub. It had a ton of storage space. Add a kitchenette and it's definitely suited for the "residence" part of the name.
The breakfast was really good & the breakfast staff were excellent. They made you feel 100% like a 1st class guest.

Charming and compact Bratislava is the world’s only capital city bordering two countries, Austria and Hungary, and centers around the beautiful Danube River. South is the modern city and a peaceful forest, but the real Bratislava attractions are over Novy Most (New Bridge), an impressive structure with a UFO-like pylon. The castle on a rock overlooking the Old Town offers the best views of it. The rock itself has a Jewish cemetery and a literally underground club.
Across the street, St. Martin’s Cathedral was the coronation site of past Hungarian kings. The cobbled streets behind are lined with outdoor restaurants and bars. The city’s specialty is treska, a cold cod salad, washed down with white wine from the nearby Small Carpathian mountains.
The main square is Hlavne namestie, home to pastel-colored buildings, a 14th-century town hall housing the city museum, and the Bratislava Christmas markets. Hodzovo namestie square features the Peace Earth sculpture and Baroque Grassalkovich Palace, the presidential residence guarded by the Slovak National Guard. Across the park is the Archiepiscopal Palace, seat of the government. All around are many Bratislava hotels, B&Bs and apartments available on Booking.com.
Before heading to Bratislava Airport, visit Kamzìk TV tower, whose revolving restaurant and observation deck offer magnificent city views.

The city is interesting, but in fact there isn't too much to see or do. Good food, reasonable prices in restaurants. Good for one, max 2 days. It is however a good place to stay and explore the area around - good for a bicyle trip to Devin or some other places. And Vienna is just an hour away by car.

Fascinating city full of charm and a mix of old and new.
Fascinating city full of charm and a mix of old and new. Very walkable and plenty to see. Variety of restaurants, both authentic Slovak cuisine and more westernised menus. The usual fast food outlets are all represented if that's what you like.
Also great for shoppers whether for local souvenirs or mall shopping.
A cautionary note. I took a taxi from Old Town to Nivy Mall (which is great) and then a taxi back to the same spot. The return journey was over double the cost. So maybe check with the driver first! There's loads of Ubers and Bolts etc around so that's a bonus!
All in all a great 3 day break which culminated in me taking the fast catamaran service along the Danube into Vienna for my flight home.
I will definitely be back!

Pleasant historic city on the Danube.
Pleasant historic city on the Danube. Old town is quite small . Castle,Churches and wandering the old cobbled streets was how we spent our time. Plenty of bars and restaurants . 1-2 days enough for us . Enjoyable place .

Fine city, nice people. Public transport cheap and cheerful.
Fine city, nice people. Public transport cheap and cheerful. Favourite spot was any restaurants along the banks of the Danube. A small number of tourists in the Old Town were on the noisy side. The city is recommended for a 2/3 day break taking in a few hours sightseeing in Vienna less than 1 hour by train from Bratislava.

Bratislava is a pleasant city, with almost everything within walking distance. During the day, there are many opportunities to explore historical sights in the old town, where there are many bars and pubs with a variety of food options. It is not overly crowded, although we were in the city during the May Day holidays. It is definitely worth visiting the castle, and walking through the many parks and streets in the old town. In the afternoon and evening, we walked along the Danube (on both sides), where there was a lively nightlife (e.g. open-air concerts without an entrance fee). The feeling of safety was high, as were the prices, which are appropriate for a large urban center and a popular tourist destination. Beer is usually much cheaper than soft drinks, so for families, sitting in pubs can become quite expensive. As a negative experience, we would mention the slowness of the service and sometimes even the feeling of deliberately ignoring guests. We didn't need public transport, but we realized that they have a rather complicated system in which inspectors mainly prey on naive tourists. There are many options for excursions and boat trips on the Danube, but this can be an expensive luxury. However, we can definitely conclude that the visit was a very pleasant experience and that we enjoyed it as a family.

Bratislava is definitely worth a visit.
Bratislava is definitely worth a visit. Its a beautiful city situated by the Danube river with lots of options for what to do, and delicious food in every restaurant at reasonable prices. The bear is great too and affordable even from pubs. I also highly recommend visiting the bakeries, and try one of there many mak (poppy seed) pastries that they have. The famous bagel is one example. My favorite however is the apple strudel. Its just delicious. You can find it from the mall. The croissants that they make with cream inside are also delicious and worth it.

Really nice and comfortable doubleroom flat is opposite to Bratislava Bus station and we use it for short night because we need catch the soon morning bus to Vienna airport. It is in the city centre, Nivy bus station and big shopping mall Nivy is just across the street. Just 10-15 min walk to old town. In front of the main entrance there is a Street food open till late night. Really good and flexible communication with landlord. Some sweets and snifters were waiting for us on the table :)
Perfect location - Bratislava old town is relatively small - and this hotel is literally within 15 minutes’ walk from any of the main attractions within old town. We could literally see all the main buildings - the castle, the main church, town hall etc from our window.
Staff - all spoke perfect English, friendly and efficient
Facilities - our room was super spacious, clean and the bed was really comfy.
The room was clean, spacious, and warm! The staff welcomed us friendly at the reception.
Great location to the Old Town, everything was within walking distance!
