Unfortunately, the traffic is atrocious which means people who do not feel comfortable on a motor bike can sit in traffic for ages just to head out to dinner. Lots and lots of terrific restaurants. Such magnificent beauty! I loved Uluwatu so much. I will say , most beaches are not easily accessible. I am very afraid of heights, and steep stairs. I will recommend going to Klive beach club, because they have a cable car that brings you down to the beach, or Melasti beach has no stairs. Uluwatu! Bali's edgy beach town, on the island of the Gods, is filled with cafés, surf shops and picturesque roads, the chilled relaxed atmosphere is why so many are drawn here. Three beaches I swam, at the base of a steep cliff at Bingin Beach, Melasti Beach is very popular with domestic and tourists, and Pandawa Beach on the tropical waters of the Indian Ocean. The Pura Uluwatu Temple is an iconic seaside pagoda that sits on a cliff, an old temple, where monkeys rule. I immersed myself in local culture at the Garuda Wisnu Kencana cultural park, the statue of the Hindu God Wisnu is one of the largest monuments of its type on Earth, Indonesia’s national emblem, with beautiful gardens galleries, nice food, memorable. Beautiful nature great coffee shops , and dining , you can go do your fitness, yoga , meditation but there are also beach clubs day and night clubs available at night for hang out . You see so many beautiful and good looking super fit people around all the time . uluwatu is the place for spectacular views, surfing and stunning beaches. it is more expensive than Kuta or Seminyak. but the blue waters will mesmerise you. also highly recommended to visit some beach clubs/restaurants. bingin beach is a must visit, but be prepared to walk down at least 100-200 stairs to reach the beaches. eat at beachside restaurants like BBQ seafood. for getting around uluwatu, we chose grab/gojek motorcycles.Guest review bySurasreeIndia

It’s in a brilliant location with shops, food and beach. you can get access to the main road via a gate which makes it easier. Close to the airport which was brilliant for a couple of days stop over near some of the nicer beaches on mainland Bali.
