This is a nice hotel, the room was large and comfortable - quiet at nights, except when the fire alarm went off. Breakfast quite good, though the fruit and yoghurt options could be improved. A nice touch was the Treviso prosecco.
The rooftop terrace and pool was inviting, though a bit exposed to the wind so I only had a couple of drinks there. The staff are helpful, and overall a good atmosphere.

Sliema was recommended to us by friends and family members, it was everything they said it was plenty of restaurants and bars but what we wasn't prepared for was the amount of building work everywhere they seem to be cramming buildings into every available space which we thought was spoiling it, I think if we return to Malta we would look for somewhere a bit quieter, but we are in our seventies and like a bit slower pace of life.

Best place to stay when visiting Malta.
Best place to stay when visiting Malta. Sliema is very well connected to Valletta, both by many bus lines and ferry. There are a lot of good restaurants (Tiffany's Bistro was our favourite). Totally recommend Sliema for your visit.

Hotel was in a great area.
Hotel was in a great area. We hired a car and really easy to get around. The ferry from Sliema to Valletta was superb and very cheap. Lots of lovely restaurants and we had a great 6 days (5 nights). Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the panoramic roof top pool in the hotel due to gusty winds. Would defo recommend Sliema.

Sliema in general was quite enjoyable, with the beautiful seaside, excellent shops, cafes and restaurants.
The one thing that gave me considerable cause for concern in Sliema was the appalling condition of some of the metal grilles at the bus stops, especially at "Ferries" bus stops, with them having been driven over many times by buses, causing them to bend into "U" shapes, with it being very easy for people to trip up over them if they didn't keep a sharp look-out, and potentially suffering serious injuries.

Everything was perfect, and the condition of the flat was immaculate. Gordon, the host, is probably the best host I have ever met. He did everything he could to make our stay amazing and unforgettable. The private hot tub on the rooftop is unique and modern and we really enjoyed it. I have stayed in many places in this area, including 5 star hotels, and it is by far the best accomodation in Sliema. I will definitely book this penthouse again if I need to stay near Sliema/St Julians/Valetta.
Good things:
1. extremly friendly receptionists, make you feel very welcomed all the time
2. There is a restaurant OPA in front of the hotel, where guests of the hotel get 15% discount on lunch or dinner
3. Great location (5 star one) from where you can get the ferry to Valletta or busses to any direction on Malta
4. The rooms looking towards the sea are wonderful, worth the price and I reccomend
They upgraded our room. We had a balcony and the room was a good size.
We booked half board and was told we would eat at the Ax Palace Hotel next door in the evenings. The food was excellent there.
Staying in a mixef room was comfortsble. Super cozy and clean hostel. It felt nicer than many 5 star hotels. Suoer thank you fot the staff and the free Finnish sauna and pool. I loved it.
