Set in Riomaggiore, in the Cinque Terre National Park, Hotel Villa Argentina is a 10-minute walk away from Riomaggiore Train Station.

The location was wonderful - it has a great view of the city and it's a nice little work-out to get to. We used it as a base and were able to easily get to and see all five Cinque Terre cities over 2.5 days. Breakfast was also wonderful - a great selection and fresh products. The room was simple, but clean and comfy - perfect for a relaxing stay.

Case Vacanze Scorci Di Mare is a 14th-century building in the Cinque Terre National Park, 165 ft from Riomaggiore’s rocky coast. It offers sea-view rooms with satellite TV.

The room and location were perfect for our trip. Lovely view with access directly down to the harbor. Very close to restaurants and close walk to train. They were very helpful and recommend trails and itinerary for our time there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book again.

What a great location! Right by the harbor - staff was so helpful and gave great recommendations. Stay for at least a full day so you can experience the area when there are less tourists - magical experience

We really loved the location. Riomaggiore was a quieter and beautiful spot in Cinque Terre and Alessandra and William’s place was close and accessible to the train station. Alessandra was kind and helpful and we greatly appreciated the amazing breakfast spread that was provided. Bibi was a lovely addition as we missed our own cats!

We liked that it was in the marina and we had a Seaview. It was very central to everything that we needed, including restaurants. Lidia and Denise provided excellent communication and we always readily available with any request that we had.

Riomaggiore is the first of the five villages and is a truly magical place! The harbour is particularly enchanting, both from the land and from the sea. Because of its situation, one can easily reach the other villages as well as Portovenere. In the harbour, Lo Scalo Lounge Bar offers great cocktails for people watching and catching your breath. Further into town, there’s a couple restaurants and foccaceria for those in need (in particular La Torpedine and Bakery Rosi). One great thing to do is to either rent a kayak or go on a sunset tour with Cinque Terre Adventure Boat Tour, which will allow you to create magical memories - ask for Matteo to be your guide, his knowledge and passion are excellent!

Great base for exploring the Cinque Terre.

Great base for exploring the Cinque Terre. We took the train one morning to Monterossa. And then hiked the entire distance back to our apartment. About 15 miles, because one section of the coastal trail was closed. Lots of elevation gain/loss. Took us about six hours, including stops. If you are an avid hiker it's very warning and doable.

Riomaggiore is the first town in cinque Terre when travelling from Pisa. If you stay there you receive a residents pass that means you can walk via dell’amore for a reduced fee(€8) and are able to walk in both directions (everyone else can only walk one way, once) to do this it must be accompanied with the 5 Terre pass( price is dependent on the time of year). It is a an excellent town for seeing spectacular sunsets and its buildings are stunning both by day and night. A short walk around the coast from the harbour you will find secluded fossola beach. The views from the castle are spectacular (free entry with residents card and via dell’amore pass). You have a choice boat trips from the harbour itself. Lots of restaurants and choices of food.

After spending two days in Riomaggiore and visiting all the towns, my choice would be to stay in Monterosso if I were to visit again. It had a much more lively feel to it than Riomaggiore. The fact that it had a beach wasn’t a factor for me, as I live on the Gulf of Mexico - NOT Gulf of America My second favorite was town was Vernazza.

THe village is just cute and nice, the places for eating are good as well. But I recommend eating in Vernazza or Manarola, with more optiosn during winter time. Riomaggiore is a must, one of the best sunsets you will ever have!

Fun to walk around this Idyllic small Italian City, bring very good comfortable shoes…. It’s all stairs and up and down elevation. Lots of people brought walking sticks. It’s very humid and moist as you can imagine as you are on the water…. So don’t bother with your hair ladies…. We went during mid October….. 1 day of beautiful sunshine… the rest rain…. Thunderstorms. We were surprised at the crowds during off season!!! Still elbow to elbow. Make sure to bring your locket for the Via Del Amore❤️

We had a wonderful stay at EC Luxury Suites in Riomaggiore! The location of this property is perfect, and with a small balcony we were really able to enjoy "la dolce vita", watching the world pass by around us. The room and bathroom was very big and clean, and Riccardo was a wonderful host. We loved the Cinque Terre and can't wait to visit again.

Incredible view in the best location. Beautiful rooms and facilities. Paolo was such a personable host who made us feel at home. He met us at check in and chatted with us about the history of cinque Terre, the best places to eat and what to see and do. It was amazing.
