Cuckfield can only be seen as a base as it is a one street...
Cuckfield can only be seen as a base as it is a one street village with a couple of nice shops and a couple of cafe/tearooms and not much else. If you want more interesting pursuits you need a car as there is no station (nearest Hayward Heath £10 taxi ride) and one bus available every 1 or 2 hours. Didn’t see much of Cuckfield itself but it looked a pretty village and the Wheatsheaf was a great place to stay, eat and drink. The village is near to Bolney Wine Estate which offers excellent tours, tastings and a restaurant.Guest review byannUnited Kingdom - Review score
Stayed in a junior suite above the SPA.
Stayed in a junior suite above the SPA. Comfortable and spacious room with roof terrace. The staff were all very friendly and courteous, obviously well trained.The breakfast was first class and dinner in the restaurant was excellent. The room service was quick.
