With Ageas Bowl reachable in 4.7 miles, Nether Oslands offers accommodations, a restaurant, water sports facilities, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, and a garden.

For us it was the location to the shore for us to paddleboard. But in addition it's location to a selection of good pubs and restaurants was a bonus. The facilities were basic but enough for our stay. The accomodation was small but enough for our stay. The hosts were very responsive to questions or requests.

Accomodation was functional but not spacious.

Accomodation was functional but not spacious. Adjacent pub was olde world. Proper beer and food, lots of space inside and out, helpful staff. One of several pub areas is next to property but was not a problem (a distance from the pub) but we had our meal served there on one evening. Parking no prob as carpark large and can park outside front door. Disclaimer: We stayed Monday to Friday AM. The weather was sunny and warm. I'm over 70. Enjoy good pub beer and grub... I've already written a fuller review on the first page of this website(?). And some photos. Not sure why I need to do this again on this page....

The marina and riverfront area is quite nice to walk around in the evening. The Old Ship Inn have very surly and uncommunicative staff unfortunately, but the Harpers Steakhouse is a much better option. That A27 gets busy and noisy in the mornings (and presumable evenings too) with lots of commuter traffic on a major 'rat-run' / access route.

Loved the small space with modern comfort of comfortable bed, large tv, heating and modern shower. Sofa bed available. Swimming pool in garden with patio seating for breakfast if weather good. Lovely secret gem. Although access from pub car park there was no noise from the parking. Main road noise is as expected. Microwave and kettle good. Take something to be able to wash and dry crockery. Basin only small round in toilet area.

We were using it as a location midway between places we were visiting. Expensive to eat in the steakhouse although it smelled good! Situated on a main road but the rooms were at the back of the property so quiet.
