On site restaurant was good since there isn't much else close by. We stayed here as a starting point for the Path of the Gods hike which is about a 10 minute walk from the place. Check in was very easy and convenient since the front desk is staffed all day by the hosts. The outside grounds are comfortable and private with nice furnishings.

Small town that is in the process of refurbishing.
Small town that is in the process of refurbishing. According to a local resident, the increase in tourism to town has allowed more monies to increase and improve local businesses and village services.
Although the Italians often don’t start eating dinner until 8p this small village had few options on the main street/square after 7p. Those that are available have variable open hours that are known only when you arrive to find it open/closed.
You need to take a bus to Amalfi to catch another bus to other Amalfi Coast towns. If driving , learn to use the buses. Parking in the “tourist towns” is very difficult not to mention the roads. Walking is also a challenge. Everything is uphill/downhill and you share the road with parked cars and drivers of cars, buses, trucks on narrow one lane roads that are just a series of turns. There are no restaurants that I would praise in Agerola but the food was always good.

It is a quiet village next to the touristic spots which is Amalfi coast. It is located in the mountains, so if you drive be ready for the endless curves, narrow roads and lots of traffic in summer. We didn’t see the village much but views looked nice!

I enjoyed the beauty of the area.
I enjoyed the beauty of the area. That it was accessible by public transport and good for walking with some wonderful walking trails. The people I met and local accommodation was great. A more gentle side of Italy.

Not for the faint hearted if you are driving, the usual scooters overtake anywhere, a lot of shuttle busses on routes, locals just seem to pull out of anywhere, lots of horn tooting, it is Italy, get the smallest hire car you can fit in or take the bus, taxi

A beautiful little town, we enjoyed the little restaurants on the plaza, and the people were friendly! The bus drivers could be a little friendlier and more helpful with tourist not knowing the stops where to get off, we missed our stop and he left as stranded in a little town 10km further and we were literately chased of the bus, with no buses running back. But the villagers was wonderful and the owner of a tobacco shop let his son drop us off back in our little village!!

The hotel's standout feature is its passionate owner, whose dedication to guest satisfaction is truly remarkable. His warm hospitality created a welcoming atmosphere, leading to enjoyable dinner experiences.
Hotel le Rocce, situated above the coast, offers good sea views with mountains. The slight uphill location is rewarded with panoramic vistas.
This perfect blend of picturesque setting and personal touch makes Hotel le Rocce a memorable stay
This hotel purely gives the home atmosphere. The owner helped to find it easily and the hospitality was just above our expectations. The room is clean and comfortable and easy to get the Amalfy coast by bus just in one hour. I appreciate the owners for warm and fast service and definetely advise to stope here. What I loved most is the breakfast with absolutely tasty and home-made cakes and cheese. I loved that. Thank you so much🤗🤗
Antonio was very friendly and helpful. The room was amazing! Clean, spacious, nice and comfortable. I would definately choose the same hotel if I would come back to Bomerano Agerola. Very close to the start of Sentieri degli Dei / The path of Gods.
