Very nice staff at reception and in cleaning service. I was satisfied with cleaning of my room as well as facilities there. I didn't have breakfast nor I used swimming pool, so I can't evaluate those services.

The walled town of Alghero on Sardinia’s west coast has an altogether more down-to-earth vibe than the more exclusive Emerald Coast on the opposite side of the island. In fact, it feels more Catalan than Italian.
The seafront walls and defensive towers surrounding the historic center were actually built by the Catalans in the 16th century, and many residents still speak a dialect from that era. However, Sardinia has been inhabited since prehistoric times, and the Nuraghe di Palmavera stone dwellings outside the town are evidence of this. Another nuraghic site is Anghelu Ruju, near Alghero Fertilia Airport.
South of the airport is sandy Maria Pia Beach which continues all the way to Alghero harbor and is lined with beachfront hotels, bars and restaurants offering tasty seafood, including local lobster. Boat trips leave the harbor to Neptune’s Grotto along the coast. Next door is Nereo Cave, supposedly the largest Mediterranean sea cave and a popular diving spot.
Also worth visiting are the pedestrian streets of the old town, packed with shops and sidewalk cafés. Also here are the 16th-century Palazzo d’Albis and the cathedral with its mixed architectural styles.
The Alghero accommodations on Booking.com include 5-star hotels with pools, cheap B&Bs and apartments with parking.
Really liked Alghero . The quaint old narrow streets in the town . The long prom walk . The port. The old buildings. People very friendly apart from the guy in the tourist office who was arrogant and rude. We could not get into some of the Churches as there was work going on.

Alghero is a lovely place to visit with its historical old town of a maze of pretty cobbled streets consisting of multiple restaurants, shops and wine bars. Lovely marina where you can take boat trips from. Lots of nice restaurants outside of the old town, would recommend Rafel restaurant and bar situated on the beach for that special dining experience.

Fabulous place which exceeded our expectations.
Fabulous place which exceeded our expectations. Safe, plenty to do and lots of good places to eat. I would recommend hiring a car. We did from 'Casual Van'. It was great to see the surrounding coast. Really stunning scenery. Would recommend Regina Margherita and La Bottega for meals and Jo'pier. We got to and from the airport by taxi which we pre booked.

Lovely, charming, walkable little city that makes you feel like you're on holiday but it doesn't feel like a tourist toytown. We were there in mid October so it may well be much busier in the summer, but it was not at all crowded and was one of loveliest holidays we've had. Good food, everything is walkable, excellent city and a boat trip to the grottos.

The beaches were amazing and there was plenty of them within a short distance from our accommodation, Bombarde beach was particularly beautiful, no a walk , but rent a bike for an easy cycle from Alghero.
From the very moment Emmanuele greeted me it was one of the most amazing experiences! Aigua was the perfect place for me to stay by myself and it is perfectly located! Emmanuele is full of information and so welcoming that I will only stay at Aigua next time I go to Alghero. He welcomes you as if he is welcoming family and he goes over everything about the apartment. The breakfast is a perfect, typical, light Italian breakfast and the little extra's make it even more special. I highly recommend Aigua!!
I had a wonderful stay in Alghero, Sardinia! Gemma and Giovani, the hosts, were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the town, making it easy to explore the beautiful beaches and attractions. The accommodations were cozy and tastefully decorated, providing a peaceful retreat. Gemma's breakfast was a delightful treat every morning. I highly recommend this place for an authentic and memorable Alghero experience! Can't wait to return!
A jewel outside of Alghero.
If you’re looking for a quiet and familiar place with short distance to city and beach you are on the right place here!
The highlight is definitely the dinner which takes place outside under a roof. Annalisa, Sylvia and their mum will prepare typical and delicious menu for you with an authentic taste of Sardinia.
Thank you for having us and being also so cute to our baby Lenni <3
This was probably the most beautiful place we stayed at in sardinia. I had the best sleep here.. it was not so hot . The check in was easier than it seemed we were sent all detailed info and videos it was quiet close to the nice part of alghero beach. The place was clean and beautiful and new the beds very comfortable and nice big balcony. I'd stay again..
Berto was a great host! Apartment was clean and smelled good. There were clean towels, amenities, AC, TV. Breakfast included coffee, juices, croissants, sweets, fresh Sardinian fruit. Location was 10min from center and 35 min from Maria Pia beach by walk. There is closer beach in Alghero but Maria Pia was much nicer ☺️.
Germano were one of the best host we got. We had many advices about tourism in the city and around. He gave us a tip for eat (for those who's reading this: go to focacceria Melese). We event show us where we should go in Sardinia.
The breakfast was good too! A real coffee makes everything.
Thanks for everything!
Nice hotel for short stay in Alghero. Hotel and rooms are a bit of old fashioned, but clean and properly equipped. Some rooms with the view to the sea, however it's partial view only. Good and relatively reach breakfast when compared to other places in Italy. Parking available. Staff is very helpful.
Gemma's home was amazing. The loft was spacious, her breakfasts were delicious, and the location was perfect. The B&B is walking distance to both Lido Beach, Maria Pia Beach and Alghero old town. Staying with Gemma felt like staying with family! I definitely hope to be back in the future.
Solid hotel right across from the beach in Alghero. We just needed a place for a night before leaving Sardinia and this worked well. Wifi, when we were able to connect in the room, was good speed. Some good restaurants within walking distance. Free parking on the street.
Loved everything about this property. It was such an amazing place and in the heart of Alghero! Everything so close and the staff go out of their way to make sure you experience everything, with suggestions on the best places to see and best grocery stores and food.
Rooms on the beach and a well maintained hotel. Sufficient car-parking which was necessary for our needs. Located about 15 minutes drive from Alghero town centre. Nothing fancy and a very comfortable stay whilst touring Sardinia by car. Breakfast selection was fine.
Fabulous room with first class amenities. Perfect location next to the old town center. Martina and the staff were fabulous and went the extra mile to ensure we had the best time and even helped us with recommendations across Sardinia.
B&B was exactly wat it looked like on the pictures. Clean, traditional and in the middle of the old centre. Luca is super friendly and ready for any Assitance. When in Alghero and want to get the real Sardinian experience, stay here!
It was one of the best hostel in Sardinia, great location, comfortable bed, very clean and very well equipped and maintained. It was one of the most extensive place that I've stayed in Italy.
We changed four hotels in Sardinia and it was the best. Good location, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also delicious, many choices, fresh food. Many parking places in the street
Great place to discover Alghero. Staff is great and helpful. Breakfast is nice. Easy parking in the street (or in the hotel's garage, but we did not use it).
Very good location with onsite parking, perfect to explore Alghero and the North West Region of Sardinia
