Apparently close to center (15 min walk), I didnt try it having booked only to rest while on a road trip. I guess i would book again, it is good quality and value.

Very nice hotel in the center of Romania. A very nice place to stay if you cross the country or Transalpina DN67C. Room was pretty large, bathroom was clean. Excellent on site restaurant, delicious food. Free and secured parking on site, for cars and motorcycles. The owners and staff were very nice and helpful. We will come back!

Good price. Got a room (nr. 6) slightly off and away from the main drag, which helped keep the road noise level low. The heating level was very adequate. Friendly staff, willing to help get you a most appropriate room for your situation.

Sebes is a pleasing blend of old and new.
The wood industry is the main employer and it is not without controversyy. There is a busy Green Party office in the centre.
On the positive side there is full employment which accentuates the underlying friendliness of a place I had visited before when times were not so easy.
On my first day I accidentally dropped a small piece of paper from my pocket while walking along the main street. This was spotted by a driver in slow-moving traffic who called out: 'sir you dropped something!'
The centre has some nice public buldings and churches and there is a very good restaurant called 'Crema Turm' where I ate twice and which is easy to spot.

Nice town..lots of interesting things everywhere but you...
Nice town..lots of interesting things everywhere but you need to spend time looking. Check out Mr Binders House and the birthplace of a guy named Carl Filtsch..he was a child prodigy of Chopin but died when he was only 14.
Around the corner is a list of local citizens sent off to the Romanian and Russian gulags..never to return.
And oddly enough if you are from Australia or from New Zealand there is a cafe in town that makes and sells Pavlova...
It is an appartment in a new building on the outskirts of Sebes. It is on the top floor in a corner, meaning little noise from neighbours. The appartment has a lot of equipment inside and a terrace. You get the key from a lock box next to the entrance to the building. There is a reserved parking space for you. The building is on the outskirts of Sebes, so in a quiet area. The internet worked fine. The owner was easy to get in touch with after the first day. He was apologetic for the issues mentioned earlier.
The property was easy to find and was well kept. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We stayed in July with temperatures in mid 90s F and even without AC the rooms were cool. We also liked the hot water on demand that the units have. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is great for visitig Sebes on foot or access to restaurants, grocery, etc. For authentic romanian food check out the two restaurants in Petresti: Casa Simy and Casa Damian. Easy access to the highways also.
Location across the road from hypermarket. Not too far from the city center either (Sebeș is a small town anyway, so no place is far away).
Clean rooms.
Very good communication with the owner.
Breakfast and dinner were available at the location, and the Italian cook made us some nice meals, at a fair price.
Large yard, with sufficient parking spots available.
We booked this at the very last minute (we were 5 minutes away) and they were very accommodating. Location perfect if you are going from the train as we were.
The highlight was the staff they were so incredibly nice and helpful.
Also we were able to have drinks and a nice dinner, which made us happy to not have to leave the hotel for that after a long day
Family run hotel clean comfybeds spacious rooms, linen, bathroom, excellent breakfast, helpful staff, excellent restaurant with famous chef on sight people coming here just to eat, perfect stop during your exploration of Romania or passing through the country
Wonderful clean hotel with fully equipped rooms. Excellent arrangement for early check-in. The helpful staff met all my requirements (recharging the phone, washing the laundry). Within 5 minutes walk is everything important ... shop, ATM and excellent pizzeria.
Fantastic in every aspect! Gorgeous Kitchen fully equipped including wash machine:)
Bathroom immaculate with tub jets and shower curtains:)
Terrace another bonus with table, umbrella and 6 chairs, to take in the views around Sebes:)
The hotel is classy and has a amaizing old time charm.
The room was very comfortable and clean, and the staff was friendly.
The meniu has a large variety of dishes competing to other restaurants. Great and tasty food.
The hotel looks very small from the outside and is actually very spacious inside. Bright rooms with everything you need. If necessary, it is possible to use the kitchen. Very good investment in terms of price / quality
we arrived the hotel very late and the owner waited us till she give the keys. I am grateful for that. the room was comfortabel. But the breakfast was not satisfying, I would like to expect at least some croissants..
Clean, comfortable room with nice big bathroom and great shower pressure, pretty close to city center. I highly recommend Da Vincenzo Pizzeria e Ristorante in Sebes! Excellent pizza.
The Hotel position is perfect, just outside of the motorway but far enough not to be disturbed by the traffic.
The Restaurant serves good food and the service is fast and perfect
- This hotel is brand spanking new, so are all its facilities
- Highway is meters away
- Free parking
- Breakfast is buffet style offering reasonable variety of foods and drinks
The property was a very nice hotel. The staff was communicative and helpful. We did have an issue that needed resolution and they were able to solve it to my satisfaction.
Hotel is new and very clean. It's perfect for resting one night when traveling, right near the highway. They also have a restaurant that has good food and decent prices.
