Wonderful recently renovated family hotel, perfect location for a visit to Sciacca. Host Raffaele greeted us with complimentary upgrade to a beautiful room with rooftop terrace overlooking the old town. He makes an excellent cappuccino and delicious breakfast, and also a perfect afternoon spritz. Also a really good neighborhood pizza place right across the street. New hotel on harbor front, with large bedroom & bathroom, fluffy towels & excellent bed linens. We were just overnighting, so chose the standard room, only drawback no windows. The more expensive rooms have a balcony & harbor view. An elevator rides to 5th floor entrance in town, after that there are 4 flights of steps to reach center. We did not have breakfast, just went to Charlie's Bar next door for sandwich & cappuccino. We had seafood dinner in harbor a restaurant..unfortunately not great.

Sciacca is such a hidden gem of a place. So much to do and see in Sciacca, from the Porto area, where the fishermen bring in their catch of the day and the old apartments and houses in that old, beautiful area of town, to the Centro area of Sciacca, with the beautiful old churches, streets and walled city. The food is of course based around the fresh seafood, that is caught daily. I love everything about Sciacca.

If you like maritime culture and a small unpretentious town but with excellent seafood restaurants, Sciacca might be for you. It has a big fishing port, very colourful. Up the hill is the main town, classy and attractive and without a lot of tourist trinket shops and other tourist eyesores. It would probably be mellow in summer with everyone out in the cafes all evening. The beaches are outside the town about 15 min. We did an early spring tour of Sicily's southwest coast looking for possible August holiday places for the future. I liked Sciacca.

Sciacca is a perfect place to explore south western Sicily.
Sciacca is a perfect place to explore south western Sicily. The town is easily explored in a half day and has nice stores and restaurants.
Definitely prettier and less up and down than Agrigento. It is a little over an hour from the Palermo Airport by car and you can explore the ancient temple of Segesta on the way and only have an hour drive to Agrigento and the many picturesque and historic attractions on the way there.
Also Corleone and Piana degli Albanesi are on the way to Palermo for those who are interested in some of the Mafia history.

It is a nice Sicilian town full of History and monuments.
It is a nice Sicilian town full of History and monuments. The city itself is a little gem as you can still see buildings that were built a long time ago still there and in use. Food and restaurants are good too as well as shops and other amenities. The only "black spot" is the fact that if you want to go to the beach you must have a car. In the evening you can enjoy a promenade in the piazza or, if scheduled, watch gigs of live music on the streets.

Sciacca is a charming place for a short stay.
Sciacca is a charming place for a short stay. The residents are kind and welcoming. We enjoyed walking along the streets and the alleyways and appreciated that it is not packed with too many tourists. It is a also good base to visit The Valley of the Temples in Argrigento.
We stayed in the Vittoria Luxury rooms for a night on our trip around Sicily. We had all 3 rooms between us. It was by far outr best stay of the trip. The rooms were great with amazing views. The top floor penthouse suite is very special. The trip was made even more special by Domenica and nothing was too much for her. Her communication was great and she was waiting for us when we arrived a little bit early. She recommended some restaurants and called and booked tables for us. 5* for Vittoria Luxury Rooms and 5* for Domenica

Great location right in centre of old town. Fantastic facilities - included breakfast is on the roof terrace which was amazing - really 10/10 delicious 'colazione' - the roof terrace looks out over the town to the sea. Antonella was so helpful with everything - really friendly and would answer any questions about the town etc. Beautiful decorations around the place, really clean. Its kind of a boutique hotel. There is a kitchen area with tables and seats. Shower and Aircon were perfect
the accommodation Casa di Angela is pleasant. the distance from the magical Agrigento and the Valle dei Templi (one of the greatest monuments of Sicily) is not far, it is. the host in is a nice lady who is willing to give advice. accommodation was in a household with a private room with a private bathroom. The breakfast was excellent in a stylish and wonderful room. plenty of parking nearby. thank you Daša a Radek
The host was wonderful! He was very kind to us, he granted us a little time more for the check-out and provided useful info. The apartment (rooms, bathroom, and kitchen) was clean and well-equipped. It is a good solution for a couple or a 3-person family. The apartment is 10-15 min from the beach and the town of Sciacca. It is ideal if you want to enjoy the Sicilian countryside, but still be close to urban areas.

Superb location up on a hill overlooking agriculture area. Neat beaches close by with fabulous beach restaurants.
Outside areas are big and nice.
Sciacca city is a very nice village.
An extra Star to the front desk woman at breakfast who was really nice and the perfect host! Also the cleaning lady was doing her best to help out with ants and general cleaning of the room.
Silvio and Carmelo were the best hosts. They were so helpful and kind with everything.
The breakfast in the grotto was wonderful with local produce.
The two roof terraces had comfortable furniture and views. A kettle and tea were available to all and the property was perfectly situated in the centre of the old town with restaurants all around. Perfect!
Every day at the hotel a lavish breakfast is served in the buffet style featuring delicious pastries, fresh fruit, a range of cool drinks and charcuterie. Although the room overlooked a busy street in the bustling centre of Sciacca it was near silent if desired. The room itself was stylish and very comfortable. 10/10 would return.
The hotel is located right in the heart of the historic city center. We paid for a room with a sea view which was well worth it. The hotel is on a bluff overlooking the harbor which provided fabulous views out over the harbor into the Mediterranean Sea. Very clean, fashionable and a great breakfast!
We just had a wonderful time! The hosts were so lovely and kind and helpful and the room was clean and super well equipped - we also loved the authentic Italian breakfast experience in the local Espresso bar in town! Will 100% book again soon when we are back in Sicily! : - )
Super friendly, clean and comfortable. Good location near the waterfront, we walked down to find the best pizza restaurant we ate at in all of Sicily. Breakfast is really delicious, proudly home cooked pistachio cake on offer when we stayed. Highly recommend.
Exceptional outstanding absolutely wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, clean amazing breakfast and the very best place we have stayed in throughout Sicilia. Elviro and Fabio make you feel very special. A memorable place that I am anxious to return
