The gardens were stunning! The restaurant had nice food, and sitting by the fireplace was very relaxing. It's also very close the Centennial Vineyards so that was a bonus. This was overall a memorable weekend away.

The range of complementary essential food and drink items on our arrival at Honey Fig Cottage Bowral was more than we could possibly have imagined and made us feel most welcome. All cooking, laundry, bathroom, communication systems, games and facilities were of such high quality and immaculately clean. We lacked for nothing whether it was for a short or long stay. It was obvious that considerable thought has been invested in developing this venue into a perfect retreat and home away from home.

The lovely historic cottage was so comfortable with sufficient heating. We didn't miss television, in fact it was good not to have it. Bowral is quite busy during the day with car spaces at a premium even though there are quite a lot of parking areas. We parked on the street, finding two parking spaces for our two cars and walked to the closest cafe Le Gastronome and had a delicious lunch with friendly staff and heated plates to keep our food hot.

Bowral was very busy during the weekend stay. Enjoyed wandering around the CBD and popping into the many interesting shops. Plenty of options for coffee/morning/afternoon tea. Parking can be a bit of a problem. Enjoyed our Thai meal at Home 9 and a dinner at Briars.

A charming place to visit and close to Sydney to make for comfortable travel. Which is why it fills up with Sydney-siders on the weekend. If you don't like lining up for a lot of places, visit mid-week if you can.
Location was excellent, I would have preferred to be able to park within the property, not out on the street but it is a quiet street so it didn't matter too much. I loved the old world charm and the historic sense that early Bowral people had lived there. I liked the fact that it was close to town yet not too close and that the heaters kept the place warm and we felt comfortable and dry as it was raining. We found a good cafe for lunch and the fact there was tea and coffee was appreciated when we arrived.

We have stayed at The Bowral Hotel several times for weddings.
We appreciate the powerpoints by the bedside - this is always handy and while its a simple gesture, it makes a difference and not a lot of hotels to have powerpoints by both bedsides.
We like the position of the TV and bathroom facilities. Everything you need for a short stay is thought about and we liked this! Wifi was fast. Parking is convenient close to the room.
The property was pure Luxury I have been a single parent for 20 years and can’t afford this kind of luxury , I had to book something for a friend christening, would have loved to stay an extra night but just couldn’t thank you for a lovely evening
Location, gardens and surroundings are typical Southern Highlands and beautifully looked after, can't say the same for the hotel building. Restaurant food was very good and the menu, although not extensive, the fod was well cooked snd presented
The food was fresh and beautifully cooked. The service was prompt and friendly. The hotel itself is a gorgeous 1920s building is great condition. I could easily have stayed longer. The communal lounge, with open fire place, was super cosy.
Location. Disabled son meant we needed easy, walking access to main street. Room nice, reasonably priced, lovely meal and hotel (bistro and bar) staff went out of their way to accommodate our son. So nice.
Close to Bowral and Mittagong. Lovely old building set in expansive gardens. Good size room with balcony. Ample choices of lounge and sitting areas throughout the building. Good bar menu for light snacks.
Great location at the start of town of Bowral. Room was large and clean and quiet during the night. The food was great in the Hotel, we had dinner in the Bistro, which saved us having to go anywhere else.
The cottage was well stocked with tea, coffee, cereal, fresh milk, and fruit. The washer/dryer worked well. The extra towels and bath robes were a bonus. Excellent WIFI and Netflix.
Very comfortable & clean room in a pefrect location for us, easy walking access to restaurants & shops. This is not our first stay in the Bowral Boutique Hotel and wont be our last.
