Located just a 15-minute drive from Ketapang Harbor in Banyuwangi, Bangsring Breeze offers an amazing accommodations overlooking the West Bali Park and Menjangan Island.

The place it self is really nice, good position if you don't want to stay in the center. Our rooms (bungalows ocean view 1 and 2) were nice and comfortable, the swimming pool outside clean and the stuff very nice. We had nice coffee and nice breakfast, served in the room.

Comfortable place to stay. This business runs by a family that also living there . So it just like we are staying with the lokal. They grew some berries,corn, edamame,etc around the property and we get a chance to enjoy them. There is Warung bu Widi close by that serve delicious Indonesian foods if you need lunch and dinner. Definitely we will coming back there when we visit Banyuwangi.

    Great city to visit if you want to hike up Gunung Ijen for sunrise. It's an icnredible hike, not too difficult, with some of the best views we have seen in all our 8 months travelling Southeast Asia. Banyuwangi was a very clean and friendly city with lots of cheap restaurants and we felt very safe walking in the evening. Stay at Snooze Ijen if you visit here!

    Lovely wee spot surrounded by nature. Good food spots on the main route u to town and lots of rice paddies and tranquility out near Juda homestay. Very convenient place to stay if arriving in Banyuwangi by train

Ijen with one of 2 blue fires in the world, many beautiful nature both mountains, waterfall also ocean nature and savannah, cultures, traditional music/dances and typical food, etc.. etc.

    There are plenty of lovely places to visit in Java and...

    There are plenty of lovely places to visit in Java and Banyuwangi is not one of them. However if you drive 30 minutes into the mountains there was some lovely homestays with views of the padi fields and dense forest which I would recommend.

    Banyuwangi is one of the best place to be as it is not...

    Banyuwangi is one of the best place to be as it is not crowded like Bali or Jakarta or Bandung or even Surabaya. It is an underrated tourist destination which is more relaxing with much cheaper hotel rates and food. You can find Rumah Apung Bangsari, Bajulmati Reservoir, Baluran National Park, Savannah Bekol, Bama Beach, Kawah Ijen Sunrise, Blue Fire Crater, Jagir Waterfall, De Djawatan Forest, Mongrove Swamp, Mustika Beach, Pulau Meran Beach Sunset, Gandrung Dance and many more. There are plenty of hotels and home stays and a heaven for culinary. It is the place to be and not in Kuta, Legian or Seminyak. Look for something different. Come over to Banyuwangi.

    Banyuwangi just like a lite version of Bali and Java.

    Banyuwangi just like a lite version of Bali and Java. Lot of thing you can do in here, hike mountain, got relax in beach, local food (mostly my favorite is pisang goreng), etc. There was lot of helpful person who helped me reach to my destination.

    Lovely staff and family that ran the homestay. Very accomodating of our late check-in time. Agus was a very friendly and helpful with organizing the Kawah Ijen tour. Gave good recommendations of local areas in Banyuwangi to explore! The homestay is right near Banyuwangi Kota station and therefore very easy to arrive to/check out of via the train. Very quiet despite the proximity to the station. We stayed during the end of Ramadan and Eid Al Fitri, so everywhere was very busy. I recommend staying here for a very good value for money.

    One of the best places I have stayed . It was my birthday and also engaged day when we stayed there and I couldn’t be more happy with everything this amazing hotel has. My partner organise a surprise balloons and a cake and the hotel did the best job at making it all pretty. Next day for breakfast I had the staff coming to my table with another cake singing happy birthday. I’m so happy that we chose to stay here , thank you so much to everyone for helping making my day to be unforgettable. I will 100% come back.

    Hadi homestay is a beautiful garden where you feel immersed in the nature. Rooms are nice and offer plenty of privacy. Mr. Hadi built the whole place by himself and love to plant trees to grow his own fruits and vegetables. He was also lovely to bring me around to discover the area, as initially I was stopping there only as a convenient hotel on the way to climb Ijen Mountain. Instead, thanks to him I discovered that Banyuwangi area has so much more to offer. Hope to come back soon again to visit more!

    The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and the water pressure is great, the AC works well, the place feels secure (there is a big sliding gate with a camera above it to close the property). The location is perfect, it's right next to a couple of delicious and affordable restaurants (Hanasta, SMJ, Surya..). The owner is very helpful and gave us great advice to enjoy our time in Banyuwangi. The wifi works very well also.

    Marc and Ericka could not have been more welcoming, they were fabulous. They replied promptly to questions and helped arrange everything with our Ijen trip, including health certificates. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was really tasty and great quality. Outdoor environment is beautiful. Beds were super comfy and lovely finishes to the rooms. It is all honestly comparable to a hotel-except with the added bonus of amazing hosts!

    Our stay there was amazing. We were welcomed well, Hadi and his family really took such good care of us, even though they had a family emergency. The place is so close to the beach, and even though it's not easy to get to the village from Banyuwangi, it's worth the travel. Also great homecooked food and super cute cats and chicken in the gardens. Everything was clean and orderly, there was even hot water for the shower.

    If you are a solo traveler who likes to meet some new friends, this place is perfect for you. The host was so fun, friendly, and helpful. You'll definitely enjoy having a chitchat with them.     You won't find a better value for money. The homestay is just a perfect place to spend a night or two for your trip to Ijen or around Banyuwangi. Affordable food options in the area, owners are very nice and eager to help with anything. They also organize a tour to the volcano combined with a visit to plantations and waterfall which we enjoyed very much . Definitely recommend!

    We loved everything about our stay at Snooze Ijen! The help through Whatsapp before our arrival to organize a driver frot the trainstation, to the warm welcome from the night guard, the cosy hostel design, all the plants, the clean facilities. The staff is exeptionally friendly and helpful. Would always choose Snooze if I ever visit Banyuwangi again!
