Kind staff and very clean room. Breakfast was OK, and the room was quiet during the night until people woke up. The fact that the hotel has a restaurant and a cafe is a huge plus. I can recommend it.

The host was super nice and always helped us, when we had a question/problem. It's a 10min walk into the old city and quite quiet at the location. The host family lives right above, but with separate entries.
the restaurant was good ,
but the hotel was not ,
the shared bathroom was not clean ,
the overall impression run down ,
reception busy with the restaurant ,
had much better experience in most of the other places i booked with you .
first day breakfast ( 17. may ) both unfriendly and poor .
no black tea .
can not be recommended .

Ptuj is a lovely historic town.
Ptuj is a lovely historic town. There are thermal pools which are a little dated but still very pleasant. The best experience was the visit to the castle. After you buy your ticket you can visit an exhbition about local carnival tradition (Kurenti) and an exhibition showing the production of cotton, silk, linen and wool. Then you can go to the castle which has three floors. You can explore various exhibitions on your own, there are paintings, weapons, furniture, and a lot more. We especially liked the mix of modern "paintings" and the old ones.

Very nice old town with a pleasant town centre.
Very nice old town with a pleasant town centre. Easily walkable and nice pedestrianised areas. Quite a few sights to see, easily visitable in one or two days. Good choice of restaurants with lovely local food.
We didn't do any cycling but it looks like a great place and area for cycling. The river and local area are interesting for birdwatching. Apparently in the winter the river is a good place for seeing large numbers of wildfowl.

Ptuj (especially city center) is nice, cozy (the oldest in Slovenia) town with rich history to tell, some really interesting bars and all that is reachable on foot.
If you like beer, go to Bodi bar, if you like more "indie" scene go to Muzikakafe bar.

Small city, very nice, can see in a day or two.
Small city, very nice, can see in a day or two. Outdoor cinema at local theater was great. Castle is cool. Terme Ptuj (waterpark) only fair. There is a free bus that can get you from the bus station (across street from train station) to center of city, and to Terme. We walked, but it was a bit warm and we had luggage, so knowing about bus in advance would have been good. Hotel staff had no clue.

we transited only, i passed through ptuj before, remember some bridge and river, some nice old architectiure downtown but nothing extraordinary to consider as tourist destination for more than a 1 night sleepover
Spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The main bathroom was especially attractive, with a huge tub. Parking was ample, and the host was extremely amicable, even bringing us "krofi" (donuts) one night. The location is an easy (<10 minute walk) to Ptuj, across a pedestrian bridge, which avoids the hassles of driving and parking in the old town. It's also conveniently near to a grocery store and nice restaurant (Pomaranča). The view out the bedroom towards the Ptuj 'Grad' (castle) was gorgeous!
Very friendly front desk and bar employees. I was impressed to find slippers in my room (it is a 3 star property). And also service from the bar was very friendly and attentive, they brought me drinks to the interior courtyard which is very pleasant. Hotel is very charming and tries to bring you back in time and the classical music playing is very nice touch. Room has large bathroom.
If you want to experience real Slovenian hospitality and a meticulously crafted b&b, that offers delicious coffee, all local breakfast, cocktails, and sandwiches, in THE perfect location in Ptuj, this is the place to be. We are SO glad we took the time to visit this quaint town, intimate castle, and stay in this beautiful hotel and meet the beyond gracious owners.
Amazing location not far from Ptuj city centre walking distance on top of a hill with fantastic view over the castle and surrounding area. It’s one of those tranquil places that you won’t forget, even if you stay one night only. The hosts are amazingly friendly. Breakfast comes right from their vegetable garden and farm. One of the best places I’ve ever been!
Great location by the river and close to the center of the old town. Friendly welcome with plenty of information by the manager Vladimir. Pleasant room with old beams on the ceiling and a view over the river (and a big parking area just in front of the hotel). Great buffet at breakfast with a big choice of different types of fresh fruit and berries.
Staff remained at the desk after closing hours because we arrived late due to border controls coming into Slovenia. This was very much appreciated. The hotel staff were polite and courteous. The breakfast was very nice. The hotel has a good restaurant, good breakfast and nice coffee.
Hotel is situated near downtown and Old city, only 4-5 minutes by walk. Very clean, good wi-fi, with polite stuff. Breakfast is OK and parking is safe and free. Ptuj is a small but beautiful city, with churches, squares, a fortress and several good restaurants.
The apartment is in the center, everything is clean and new. Absolutely equipped with everything. The bed is extremely comfortable. Warm. Absolutely deserves the highest rating. In case we go to Ptuj again, we would come there again.
The host was very friendly and polite and offers coffee, drinks etc in the breakfast area. The room was clean and nice and the property is well situated in5' walking distance from Ptuj center. A very nice experience overall.
The appartement is very confortable and offer a great view on ptuj and vineyards. Our host was so welcoming. We were there during the floads in Slovenia and felt very well in the appartment. We highly recommend this place !
Kind staff and very clean room. Breakfast was OK, and the room was quiet during the night until people woke up. The fact that the hotel has a restaurant and a cafe is a huge plus. I can recommend it.
Perfect location for exploring Ptuj on foot (easy walk down the hill into town). Beautiful views from the spacious grounds. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful host. Great breakfast.
the hotel is in a historic building with very comfortable rooms and beautiful decorations. it also has a wonderful wine cellar where we we were to do wine tasting.
