We were only there for a quick overnight, so I can’t really say anything about the grounds. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and modern. The shower was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious— omelets, baked goods, fruit, good coffee, etc.

Location was perfect for walking into town (walkable to Ye Old Tavern, Thai Basil, shopping, outlets, etc.). The staff was friendly. Property amenities were nice - golf, bon fire, tennis, heated outdoor pool, yard games, etc. Our room was clean and bed very comfortable. The Palmer House really is about location. We have stayed before and will stay again for short overnight trips b/c of this.
