It was our first visit in New York.
It was our first visit in New York. It is a lot to take in with the traffic, noise, lights and amount of people on the streets and everywhere. The overwhelming smell of weed literally everywhere was very unpleasant. We underestimated the amount of walking you have to do each day, so it was quite exhausting for us. We had a wonderful time though visiting different sites and attractions (and family & friends) and wished we had more time to do our whole intended itinerary. New York is quite expensive, for example paid USD 14 for a soft vanilla ice cream in a waffle at Bryant Park and USD 7 for hotdogs on Times Square. But on the other hand, obtained excellent seats to the Wicked Broadway show the same day of the show for 'only' USD 135 pp. That show btw is AMAZING! Getting the right subway was a bit of a pain and gamble, but the rides were clean and air-conditioned and less scary than expected, although we did encounter a few characters.Guest review byVanessa - Review score
Our visit to Queens was enjoyable and convenient.
Our visit to Queens was enjoyable and convenient. The area offers a good mix of local charm and accessibility to Manhattan. Plenty of food options, diverse neighborhoods, and a more relaxed pace compared to the city.Guest review byKostasUnited States - Review score
There is much to see in Brooklyn.
There is much to see in Brooklyn. My ancestors on both sides were from Brooklyn, so when I go there, I am mesmerized! From trying to find their former houses, to going to Prospect Park, it's all fun to me.Guest review bySusanUnited States - Review score

Bronx is a good place but the house and all the shenanigans about no one picking the call but texting only. I thought it was a hotel not knowing it’s a house in some dark places in Bronx. I texted the person back that I’m not interested because I feel uncomfortable and have asked for a refund of $203. Shiiii….Guest review byPhilip - Review score

Nice secure area, mind the pavements they may be bumpy (though getting fixed from time to time), close to NYC, tunnel takes its time but was never extreme, nice small neighborhoods, great view on NYC, nice shopping (mall, low price shops, dine-in)Guest review byVividAustria - Review score
there were restuarants and shops close by.
there were restuarants and shops close by. Bus stop into manhattan right outside and only 15 minutes into the city. For the price you pay to stay here plus travel its still much cheaper than staying in Manhattan.Guest review byVanessa23749South Africa - Review score
The location was just right.
The location was just right. Walking distance to shopping mall, close to the airport. Close to many other great hotels. Didn't had much entertainment but good for a short trip. The elevator was nice, spacious and fast. Was not a luxurious but good for its owner. Some talking and music noise from the other rooms.Guest review byErwinNetherlands - Review score
