A lovely flat place, where you can walk or bike ride till your heart is content. We are in our 70's and we bike ride all around doing up to 20k's in a day. Stopping for breakfast or lunch or just at the beach. It has great shopping centres with every shop you need. So many places to eat, all sorts. We enjoy the RSL for an evenings entertainment and a good meal. We use our bikes or car. I cant comment on the public transport. There is always buses on the road though.

A perfect, unspoiled beach location.
A perfect, unspoiled beach location. The beach is safe and perfect for swimming, with sandbars and fishing. There’s a lovely old pier for strolling on.
Nice cafes that are affordable. The people are friendly and relaxed. Great fish and chip shops dotted about, excellent fresh fish.
The Bayswater Bar near the Pier has happy hour cocktails 3-5pm and really good $10 pizzas weekdays 2-4.30pm. It’s the best place to spend an afternoon overlooking the water.
The waterfront has an endless promenade, with picnic facilities dotted along it. Great off leash areas for dogs. Don’t forget to greet the locals as you pass by.

The whole Great Sandy Strait is utterly superb.
The whole Great Sandy Strait is utterly superb. Great restaurants everywhere along the Esplanade. Need to plant lunch well, as disappoint most cafes close by 1.3opm to 2pm...so hard to get a late lunch.

Nice for a short holiday.
Nice for a short holiday. Whale watching is excellent and so is a trip to K'gari. A stroll along the long pier is worth the effort. Beautiful views. The weather is lovely in Autumn but a bit humid in Summer. It is easy to drive around Hervey Bay even when there are a lot of tourist. There are a lot of choices when looking for a place to eat.

We stayed in Hervey Bay for two weeks this time for the first time. Unfortunately we could only get a week in each of two places. We have made the trip to Hervey Bay many times and stayed in different types of accommodations from Motels, a house and now resorts. Have driven from one end to the other many times and I love it all. I Have loved staying at the Mantra the best as it has a lot of conveniences in walking distance and the shopping center is not far, by car, if you want to dine in your unit. We did drive to the other end to the RSL for the special deal meal nights. The staff have been wonderful in all places we have visited.
What a fantastic place. Great spacious room with everything you could need for a short or long stay. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen with a full size oven, cooktop and microwave. Aircon to the bedroom and living room area. The location is right across the street from the miles and miles of beaches. There are ample restaurants including the Nilima, the Indian restaurant at the hotel with excellent food. There is also a lovely pool at the Apartments, BBQ facilities and a supermarket just 500 metres away.
The location of Mantra Hervey Bay is great, being so close to the Marina and a only medium stroll, along a lovely walkway to the Urangan pier and eateries.
Our room had a beautiful view of the marina, with a small but functional balcony to watch the coming and going of vessels.
The bed was comfortable and large.
The pool looked very inviting and there was a good selection of dining choices within a 5 minute walk of the complex.
The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly.
We’ve visited Hervey Bay previously and found most accommodation to have been average at best, however, we stretched our budget this time around and our stay at the Allegra Appts., was nothing short of excellent! Our ‘suite’ enjoyed direct access to the charming pool and helpful staff were usually on hand to answer virtually any question we threw at them.
The underground car park was an unexpected plus to what was a great break!
A popular seaside holiday destination only 35km or 30mins East of Maryborough and the A1.
we only had one night to explore the Hervey Bay, Point Vernon and Urangan areas before heading further north, but there was lots to take in.
The motel was right on the beachfront esplanade, and fully booked , so popular, even with motorcycle groups out for an overnight.
The office staff at check in were fabulous, unflappable...
What was there NOT to like! Sarah has gone over and above on details in this tiny house! My husband and I agreed it was so well supplied and well thought out. Almost everything you need, Sarah has thought of! Little Sunshine was a ray of sunlight in a quiet country side setting and only about a 15 min drive to the Hervey Bay esplanade with its beautiful beaches. We would highly recommend Little Sunshine tiny home.
Surpassed our expectations considering the budget price, and the room was clean and comfortable. The onsite restaurant and bar were a surprise, we enjoyed lovely sunset cocktails on the deck overlooking the lake.
There was a nice grassy area with a picnic table outside our room, it was a perfect spot for our morning cuppa. Easy walk to the beach, Urangan Pier, and Botanic Gardens
545 Esplanade cottages are in a great location straight across from the beach, with access to the walking tracks along the beautiful Hervey Bay foreshore. The cottages are well equipped with everything you could possibly want, thanks to a host who has an eye for detail and obviously cares about her clientele.
Completely recommend. very clean and welcoming. I was happy with the friendly owners, who were very hospitable. It was quiet and very close to shops and beach. Very reasonably priced with breakfast provided!! I will be staying there again next time I travel to Hervey Bay.
The host was lovely and helpful and allowed our small house trained fur baby to stay when alot of places in Hervey Bay wouldn't allow it. Bed was very comfortable. Nice linen and decor. Very clean. Property not too far to the esplanade and in a nice quiet street.
The room was well maintained and prepared in hygienic conditions. The staff are thoughtful about their guests. It can be seen that the owner has put effort in running his business. We will come back next time when we visit hervey bay again
Perfect location for our quick trip to Hervey Bay. Quiet location in walking distance to the Boat Club.
Friendly welcoming staff. The hotel style room was very adequate, comfortable and quite.
Good location out of the main esplanade of Hervey Bay. Sensational views from the penthouse floors over wide Bay Area. Heated pool and spa. apartments are large layout & well appointed.
